The OEM center stand was injuring my lower back so I bought this to prevent further injury. In hindsight, I should have purchased this a long time ago. It absolutely works as advertised! Either with the reverse gear, or from the left side as designed, it is ridiculously easy to place on the Ride Off Center Stand. I now live in a condo without a garage to work on my Goldwing so I hired the local Honda shop. Well worth the $73.56 to have them R&R the center stand!! The 2 cons already mentioned are: 1) cannot rotate the rear tire; and 2) cannot easily un-weight the front tire to easily rotate the steering wheel. However, the instructions describe the work-arounds. On balance, the pros FAR outweigh the cons!! My back is extremely grateful. If you're reading this, stop here and put one on order. You won't regret it.
We have an '89 Trike. We put this on with the zipper in the front, but from other reviews, I guess that must be backwards??? Anyway, it fits around the rear end. The material is not that cheap stuff, it seems pretty durable. We have only used it to cover the trike inside our garage. We have not tried it out in the elements. Yes, I agree with other reviews, we will never get it back in the bag that it came in, but a trike is going to take a lot of material to cover it up. Safe travels!
Easy install if you already have the tip over covers removed...just snap into place. I had been testing the look of highway pegs that clamp to the bars and decided I prefer that look. These complete the look.
I guess I should have known the side cowl lights were not included. Personally, I think the description should plainly say the side lights are not included. To me, they are also cowl lights. After all, they are on the cowl. Anyway, EC needs to get the install instructions on the web page. I am at least the second person who had to contact EC to get the instructions emailed. Install was not hard, just takes time, so don't be in a rush. I installed the reconfiguration harness at the same time. Used Fred's vids to help with the install. I hope the lights add to my daytime visibility as advertised. If not, at least it wasn't a ridiculously expensive farkle.
The install instructions are o.k., but Fred's vid makes it much easier. Wish I would have found his vid before I started my install. Works as advertised and I appreciate the added visibility during daytime with high beams on.
Only reason I bought it was because I was buying other stuff and figured next time I need it, it'll be easier than using a paperclip to short the circuit. Now I'll see how long it'll take to need it. I already used a paper clip to set up a second fob.
These were easy to install and look great. The glue is strong and should stay on. One word of advice, make sure they are lined up perfectly straight because there's no do over when installing them.
Looks sharp on the bike even though it's plastic (what isn't anymore for these bikes). The only complaint is that there's no work time to adjust the piece as the glue starts to adhere immediately upon touching. It was really hard to get into position before it stuck to the fender.
These are a must have for those of us that are not real tall. Before installing a set of these, my arms were extended with no bend in them and I couldn't sit back against the back of the seat. After installing these, my arms have a slight bend in them and I can sit back against the seat back. Just the little bit of rise and rear angle of the handlebars makes a world of difference and give me a much more comfortable drive. The score would have been 5 stars except for the price. I didn't purchase mine through wingstuff and they are not the same brand so I can't comment on the 2 minor issues I have with the set I purchased. The price for these helibars is excessive as the ones I purchased cost less than half this price.
This Chrome Key Plate looks awesome on my Gold Wing Trike! I have purchased many other items to give my Trike, BLING!! However as it sometimes happens this is my second Key Plate as I unfortunately lost my other,it is great and looks very expensive, been a loyal customer for years, and will do so for years to come great, response time in shipping couldn't ask for better service! Thank You
Easy to install, look and work great. My only complaint is I wish there were a rubber seal that went around the edges for a little less space between mirror and housing.
This rack and bag worked great. We took a four day trip and between this bag and the bike we had more than enough room for our things. Rack conveniently and easily slides out of its mount after removing two pins and can be carried by the bags handle. Bag seems well built like it can hold alot of weight. We had 23 pounds in it. The placement of my Kuryakyn hitch safety chain rings necessitated the rack mount being placed on top of the bar under the ball. The pins that held the rack into the mount would slide down between these rings. Not a problem but it did make it slightly less convenient to remove them. Also, the bag did not block my plate. Very happy with my purchase.
