| This could have been a 5 star product. What holds this back are two conditions that Show Chrome could easily resolve. First, there are no directions that come with it. You have to pay attention to the way this product is machined in order to properly attach it, otherwise you'll end up frustrated with how it fits. Second, the bolts that come with the product are used to attach the extender to the pedal. They are 3mm too short for utilizing the nylock threads on the nuts that ships with it as well. I would suggest Show Chrome resolve this. However, a good threadlocker paste will work as well.The extenders work fine, and transition the pedals out a few inches from the bike and whichever direction you want them to sit. Good solid product, but it would have been a much better solution had these come as part of the highway peg kit they are intended for. |
| Excellent product. Work as expected. Perfect fit, and easy to install. This should be the number one modification you do on a Goldwing. Even my small wife can now put the bike on the center stand. Thank You, Wingstuff. |
| This is the second lid organizer for my trike. The first one was smaller and very unusable. Whenever we opened the trunk the contents would be everywhere. I had a MORE expensive version on my Ultra Limited. Was nice that it came out and we could carry into the motel, but... that happened only once so we felt it was no need to spend extra for something we may never use. Have been quite please with this less expensive option. Wing Stuff stuff rocks! |
| I bought this to replace one that I've had for years. It appears to be of good quality and should last as long as the last one. Doesn't really matter, you've got to have a Texas flag anyway. |
| When I bought my GL1800, for some reason the previous owner had installed regular levers (no adjustment). I upgraded to these adjustable ones and it's a world of difference. They look and feel great and I now have the ability to adjust the travel, something that I didn't have with previous bikes. |
| I had upgraded to all LED's on my GL1500, and when a low beam went out on my GL1800, I knew exactly what I wanted to do. These make SUCH a difference I don't know why Honda doesn't include them as stock. The installation went super easy and I was done in 15-20 minutes. I'll probably upgrade the high beams very soon, not because they're needed, but because work and look so good. |
