| Easy / quick install. Honda should have made the rear fender wider to start. The gap between the saddlebags and the fender makes the bike look like something is missing. The filler strips "complete" the look. Have taken a couple hour ride since install and I'm not sure how much dust they keep off the back of the bike though. |
| Started off working great. But after 2 months in, not really using it much due to lousy weather and sitting in garage, got my first indication of trouble yesterday.After starting out on my Goldwing, tried to turn on my music and got NOTHING on display, no music at all.After getting to work and shutting down, I checked all connections and everything seemed in tact.Powered it back on and I got music but, no selection or "CD" change function.Power cycled again and this time I got all function back...Tech support said it happens with this and I did what was recommended...? |
| The included template with my product was 1/3 the size of the trunk, so I didn't have an easy way to overlay the template on my trunk for drilling. As such, I had to make an educated guess in the front corners for drilling (it's a tight fit between the edge of the trunk lid and the inner trunk seal).Once I installed the bumpers, I did a little careful corner carving of the two front bumpers so that the top slid in perfectly between the trunk lid and the seal, because I didn't want the seal to be deformed in any way. After much trial end error and sanding of the bumpers, I got a perfect fit that doesn't shift the seal at all.The biggest thing I can tell you is that you'll have to slam the living crap out of the trunk to get it to latch fully when you first install them, but after 1800 miles of warm weather riding it does seem like they're slowly taking a set and the lid is getting easier to close.The upside is - NO MORE TRUNK RATTLE! |

| Just put these on cleans the engine up very nice.Easy 2 bolt installation using existing mount points. I used an 8 mm flex socket 1/4 inch drive with an extension and ratchet to remove the bolts. Be careful removing them and installing them as do not to drop them. |
| I now have about 200 miles on these and I just love them. I have had just about every aftermarket muffler made for the previous generation Gold Wing, V&H, Torq Master, Corba and the stainless steel Alley Kat's that Harry Eddy (HELIBARS) came up with for the 1500 & 1800. All of those mufflers had about the same sound the Alley Kats being the best of the bunch. The Remus mufflers have a sound unlike anything I've ever heard on a Wing, the only video that even gives you a hint of what they really sound like is the Remus video without the music. With the choice of sound and driving modes I feel like I'm riding a different bike now . |
| This tire came on my 18 Goldwing, I got 14000 miles on them.Then I tried a set of Dunlop and got 11000 miles, now I'mtrying a Dunlop Elite IV which are almost new.So I ordered my new G852/G853 because I know they area good long mileage Tire and handle great. |
| Although I previously used balancing beads on my 2003 Gold Wing for 3 sets of tires and was pleased with their performance, I decided to try the Centramatic Wheel Balancers on my 2018 Gold Wing Tour DCT. With almost 12,000 miles on the original set of Bridgestone tires that had no cupping and only 2 small weights on the front tire only, I did not notice a significant change after the installation of the balancers. Even with the weights removed from the front tire, I can conclude that the balancers are doing their job and I look forward to their performance on the next set of tires and the next! Installation was very easy also with my friend's motorcycle lift. |
| I can't add much to the prior reviews, I agree 100%. More sound, I feel more base than stock too. I am now at 11 vs 15 using my USB music.Some people will say you need an amp for these which may discourage you from buying these. Don't fall for that. Using everything stock except these speakers gives remarkable sound and more power than I need. I can hear instruments I just couldn't hear with the stock speakers. If you just like to hear your music and aren't an audiophile, you will be very very happy.Looking at the 'magnet' on the stock speakers it is really nonexistent. I couldn't even get a piece of steel to stick to them! Where as on these it sticks like it's glued on. very happy. Wingstuff had them in stock and I got them in days. Big Bike Parts said out of stock! |
