Fits great haven’t tried it out as yet…
Was easy install…Hardest part was getting the CD Stacker out…Works as they say…
Installed it last week was fairly easy…Have only sat on bike for 30 secs haven’t been out on road as yet but I could feel instantly it’s gonna be a back saver…
I needed something to help the back end catch up with the front of my bike as far as chrome. I found this and thought it would do the trick. It arrived and sure enough it did not fit the fender like others have experienced. I was also impressed with the heavy duty quality of this part. I wish more of the parts had this sturdiness to them. I was going to give this review a three but I have to go with a five because I called wingstuff customer support about the fit not even being close and they took care of me and sent out another one just like that with no issues. Now that is what I call customer support!!! This one fit closer but not like I am used to their products fitting perfectly on my 2003. I found the solution was to place a towel in a vise and clamp lightly both ends of the fender trim and slightly bend the ends. I placed it back on the fender and it fit perfect by just closing up that gap on both ends. The part looks great on so don't shy away from purchasing this one because you have the solution to a perfect fit my fellow wingers.
My right lower vent I noticed when I purchased my 2003 wing was broken which just gave me the excuse I needed to change them out with chrome ones. The price was a little steep I thought for what they were but boy when they came and I opened them up I was pleasantly surprised of the quality. My bike is red and man do they shine up the lower fairing. I want the upper ones now but need to save some more pennies, but soon to be on my bike. Thanks Wingstuff!
The back order notification I placed on these gloves was worth every penny once they notified me these bad boys were back in stock. I absolutely love these gloves. They could not fit more perfect on my hands, the wind blows through the mesh keeping my hands free from sweat, and the comfort they provide in outstanding. Thanks Wingstuff I will be ordering a couple more pairs just in case you all decide to discontinue these. PLEASE DON'T!!!!!
Found this filter at a way better price then most and the OEM one. Took a chance on it after reading reviews and purchased it. You won't go wrong with this one and if you think you can't you can install it yourself and save over $200 by NOT having Honda install it.!!
Well I had to buy two sets of these until I figured out how to get them on. I ran into an issue with the D clips being squeezed together to much being pushed down into the chrome knobs. Once that happened they were impossible to get out. I have to use my dremel tool to cut them out of the knobs hence buying a second set to try again. The next set I took a round file and filed inside the knob where the D clip fits down in. With a little filing I was able to fit the clips without being squeezed and they fit perfectly. A bit frustrated with this chrome addition but I was not giving up getting them on because it dressed it up nicely as others have stated..
Watch the video several times before you install the hitch. The video makes it very easy. Great product.
The grips provide a "super glue" type of glue that sets almost immediately. In this setting, if you encounter even the slightest of issues, even beyond your control, your grip is locked in place and has to be cut off in order to remove it. Once cut off the company (Kuryakyn) does not sell replacement inners or a single grip to replace the rubber inners destroyed in the installation. For a product that relies on an instantaneous glue installation, where there is room for error, and potential failure, there should be replacement parts available. If you do purchase these, don't use the provided glue. Realize you're going to have to spend about 8 dollars more on grip glue from your local motorcycle dealership so as to guarantee a trouble-free installation. Otherwise, I like the grips, and Wingstuff, though not acknowledging my frustrations and addressing this issue with the company, ships rapidly and without issue. I would use them again. Just want to alleviate frustration ahead of time for those purchasing these so as not to be delayed by waiting on the second set of grips and not being out on the road riding. Good luck and stay safe!
Had a little mouse living on my filter and we all know what a chore it is to get to the filter on the gl1800 so I put these on it took a little time to gain access to the intake but well worth it to protect the bike from debris or rodents destroying your bike
Very easy to install and you can direct the wind onto you if hot and away from you if cold I live the quality and color of these air deflectors
