Installation was not a problem. But the lights would not come on. The original distributor of the product sent me a new harness but the lights still did not work. I had to take my non-tour 2022 Wing to a Honda dealer to diagnose the problem. They discovered that the wires were not matching at the connector and had to redo the connector. Also, the small white connectors kept coming apart. I believe the supplier should inform all post-2020 Wing owners of this problem. In addition to the cost of the lights, I had to pay 2 labor hours to solve the problem. Altogether these lights cost me close to $700 when all is said and done. Not happy...
Absolutely love them. Extremely easy to install. Added so much more comfort than the stock pegs. I have them angled forward to the first notch. Amazing how much a difference they make in that position. Wish I would have added them to the bike before my trip back from Tennessee.
Great addition to my 2015 GW. Easy to install, took me about 30 minutes. If you are going to install these, it will benefit you to have a helper. But can easily be done by yourself. Just remember to follow the directions and do one side at a time. I was able to take a 300 mile trip after installed and noticed a big difference in comfort and less stress on the shoulders.
I purchased these in June of 2022 as I had worn my OEM pads that I replaced a few years ago down to the bone. They work great. No squeaks, no trouble. Easy to install.
This is a must have for installing extra lighting on the rear. If you can remove the seat, you can install this with no problem. Great Product!
Just what I needed. Fit is perfect and it definitely makes a difference. For the price, I don't even mind the WINGSTUFF logo....
The only hiccup was that the instructions for this and the taillight I installed with it was that nothing talked about getting and using the app to program it and the default password ("000000") you need to get into it. I was able to find that info online.
I'm happy with this product. The instructions weren't perfect, but close enough I could figure out the minor discrepancies. I chose this over the Honda rack because I wanted the programmable taillight (e.g. flashing brake light option). The only advantage I see with the Honda is that it comes with replacement hinge dampers that I assume would make it handle the added weight of the luggage rack better. The rack weight (even empty) means the trunk doesn't pop up a little when you push the button to open it.
Easy install. I have the 20" tinted version. Same height as the original. Recurve seems to have minimal impact but the width adds a little protection. I was concerned that the tint would be too dark, but I'm happy with it.
OEM Quality Service Connector. Decided against the paper clip method to guard against accidental damage. Works Perfectly!!!
My son asked for a set of these for a gift and after helping him install then on his 2005 Goldwing I liked them enough that I ordered a set for my 2009 Goldwing as well. The instructions are easy to follow along with a few videos out that one can watch prior to getting started. I love how much brighter these lights are which will be a huge help to be seen by drivers both day & night. I took my time doing the install and had the job completed within two hours .
easy to put on . use a 8 mill meter socket on middle bolt. pc comes off put new one on easy fix
