1st, the bolt on the right side of the center stand is a left-handed thread. knowing this makes installation a lot easier (and less bloody). 2nd, the bike is less stable on the ride off stand than it is on the stock stand BUT, with the ride off stand you are more likely to use the center stand, and you are aware of the wobble as you mount. 3rd, you do need a board under the stand to be able to spin the wheels. 4th, my reverse gear does seem to be weaker after 6 months or so 5th, when getting gas, my co-rider is happier (and isn't that a good thing) because she's not leaning over as on the side stand all in all, i do prefer it to the stock stand |
| This unit is not for everyone. Can be intimidating to install. Did not like cutting into bikes wiring. Wiring diagram leaves a LOT to be desired. Took me over two hours to install. Got it working but I wish they could make it more plug and play. I would gladly have paid more for that. |
| Nice touch , but be careful with the gasket. Very easy to to rip. It is entanged in the shrinkwrap. |
