Installation was easy enough, but I had to modify ( trim ) the thing so the headset would plug in. The dust cover seemed to be to long. The unit itself works well enough. Volume and PPT switch were a welcome addition for my passenger. |
I liked these so much I moved them from the GL1500 to the GL1800. Adjustment capabilities are endless and the quality is outstanding even after scraping the ground a few times. |
These add a really nice look to the front of the Bike, but then chrome is always good. Not to hard to install. Overall a quality product, and is holding up well. |
Like all Kuryakyn stuff these things rock. These are for my wife, partner, navigator, and riding bud. This is the second Wing with arm rests, and they are a must. Installation was not to hard, instructions were good. I also installed a possibles bag under one arm rest for water bottles and other small stuff. |
This is one of the first things I added to the new bike. Fairly easy to install after you get over the fear of drilling holes in the deck lid. Chrome is good, and it is strong. We strap a large Nelson Rigg bag to it on road trips, and the rack has held up well for the first 9000 miles. |
These are a must have! LED lights are brite, easy to install, give an added safety factor, and look sweet. Another quality product from Kuryakyn. |
Installed this hitch to my '02 GL1800 last weekend. I must agree with the other reviewers, in that the instructions leave a lot to be desired. But all in all, this is a pretty good hitch for the money. My only disappointment in the design is that the two rings that you fasten your trailers safety chain to, could have been built stronger IMHO. Other than that, the hitch appears to be well built and should serve it's purpose quite well. |
Well made! Solid attachment to bike! No "fit" problems at all on my 04' GL1800. As noted by many others, the instructions suck - hence, it took two hours to do what should have only taken an hour. I'm not sure just how many generations of a "photo copy of a copy" that the instructions came from, but the pics were not viewable at all and totally useless. I e-mailed Add-On and they sent me a "clean" version, but the photos, although original and in color, were'nt all that clear, so I fully documented my installation, including high resolution pics! I also included information and steps that I think should have been in the original instructions to make it easier to understand and move through the installation. Would be more than happy to share them if anyone wants it! Just e-mail me! Over all - I love the product and it fit my 04' like a glove. |
Works Great. Just got back from the Georgia Mountains and the pollen was heavy...but thanks to the cover, it wasn't on the bike! Lite-weight, and fits in the corner of our small rack-bag! |
Just installed this weekend.Looks great on the Wing and really dresses up the front of the bike. I also installed fog lights the same time. |
Very bright and visable from the rear while not distracting you from the road. Looks great A nice safety item |
These really look good and give you better visibility from the side day or night. Added when I added the ring of fire. Love them. |
