I love it (keeps you in place when you nail it, hehe). But the wife complains about her legs rubbing the exposed bars (hence 4-stars). Also tends to rub corners of seat when moving forward. Does have a small zipped storage pouch on back side for wifeys necessities. Has 3 course position settings. I use the rear most setting (as shown in pic at above). All in all it looks good and feels great. Mine was dealer installed. |
The nicest looking one out there! Solid metal construction (not thin-walled tube steel). Rubber patch is a nice touch too. Only had it a couple of months but am very satisfied so far. Doubles as a trunk handle. Very solid. Tends to be a fingerprint magnet though. Wish I had gotten the riser kit too. If you add it later I hear you have to re-drill 2 of the holes because the spacing is spread out some. Bummer. The Kury matching trunk rack bag is a must with this item. Mine was dealer installed. |
I put these on at the same time I upgraded my pegs. They will add about 3 lbs. to the bike. The originals are made of thin hollow cast aluminum (I've heard of some breaking). These are solid 1/2" chrome-plated steel. They aren't going anywhere. They look nice with a set of chrome pegs. I suggest getting the chrome break pedal too or it will stick out like a sore thumb. |
Very nice and heavy-duty. They weigh over a pound a piece. The originals are like paper in comparison. Be sure to examine how the spring is supposed to go before removing old pegs (original spring & pin are reused). I opted for these instead of the full-sized boards and really like them. I bought the matching hiway pegs and chrome mounts for the "complete" look. I have not had any lost or loose rubber pads yet. I am very pleased with these. |
Boy, these things are heavy and well made! Just about every axis is adjustable. Foot rest area is large enough for several foot positions: heal, toe, arch, etc. However, the 'wing is so wide that when in use, you have to really spread your legs wide (dont wear shorts if you're shy, hint, hint). Not a flaw with these pegs, but, your legs will rub the edge of the fairing while using them causing undue discomfort along your shins. I bought the matching foot pegs for the matched look. Haven't lost any rubber pads yet. |
We tow a one-wheel Uni-Go trailer, and these Turndowns are not only very pleasing to the eye, but keep exhaust fumes and gunk from spraying onto the trailer. We get lots of favourable comments from those who admire the look. Great accessory, easy to fit and remove for cleaning. |
These boards are great, eazy to install and improve the ride. |
The finish on these covers is excellent. They are bit fiddely to fit and get all the brackets, holes and screws lined up, but, they look good once everything is in the right place. I reccomend putting a star washer under each screw as the kit does not come with a washer and I feel the screws might loosen over time without them, Other than that I am happy with the result. |
Nice product, sticks really well and looks awesome on the bike, I added this to the chrome garnish and am very happy with the result |
Did not buy yet, but was wondering if this will work with Item #: KU4038 driver boards. |
Neat unit to keep the Mp3 player and Cell phone charged. Didn't have just the right size bit to drill the hole in the left fairing pocket,(30mm?) but the local honda dealer did it for free during an oil change! Now THAT is customer service! |
Did I receive a defective set of ISO pegs? When installing them, I noticed only one pre-drilled hole for the Allen set screw, which would have put the pegs at a steep angle, not suitable for riding. I had to have a friend with a drill press drill new holes for the set screw for the pegs to have the proper angle. Very poor design or quality control from Kuryakyn. Also, my Kury highway boards are pitted and peeling...POOR! |
