Nothing spectacular. Works. |
Very easy install. Be careful not to break the "stand down" switch. Has a significantly bigger footprint (see photo gallery (Big Foot)). Looks nice too. |
Bought these in Nashville at GWRRA rally last year. 107 degrees on the trip from Atlanta to Nashville - completely comfortable in same temps under mesh jacket on the way home - best purchase we made at the rally. |
It definitely keeps the road debris off of your lower chrome. In addition to that it helps to keep your feet drier in the rain. I suggest getting a buddy to help with the install, or some quick grips (with pads to protect your paint). The double sided tape just got in the way for me. Most fender extensions up your chances for tearing off your lower front fender but with this one you have the rubber extension (which complements with the tire) which will flex in the event you do go over some unexpected road debris. |
Quite a nice addition to the bike. Looks great! Easy install, just take your time (10 Minutes max)!!!! |
Looks great and feels like the ones I had on my Suzuki C90. What a PITA to install. You would think for this price they would include the 20 cent allen wrench. I really ahd to dig around to find one that would fit. Not metric like the rest of the bike...gee. Also, I received a package that said "throw away the screws we sent you and use this extra package instead." What the heck is that all about? I hope these do not rotate later on. The ones I bought for the C90 (non heated grips)forced me to go by some super glue to get them to stay. Ok, they are very very comfortable so for now 3 stars. Let's see if they stay put!!!! |
Well made, connects with one battery lead for 3 switches, and chromed of course. Individual fuses. |
No doubt about it, the very first addition to the bike. After one year the chrome is fading at the left mounting plate. I would not ride without these. |
This should have been stock from Honda. Well made and sharp. Getting them off and on without scratching is challenging. Should have been designed as a bolt on. |
Iso Grip for Heat. First, I have owned many bikes and customized them all. I too am quite disappointed in this product. To the previous rider who did not line up the left notch, ouch, because you can rotate the interior notch to match the grip mounts, but alas, try getting it off without the thin, fragile grip not breaking! I had to buy another pair because one broke. When mounted, the grips do not match when observed, the adhesive is garbage, and useless. Additionally, for that price, some rings would be good. I give 3 stars because they are comfortable and allow some of the heat through. |
Same complaints as everyone else. Crowds passenger and can't keep it tight even after torqueing the heck out of it. Constantly sliding backwards. Do yourself a favor and save the frustration. Don't buy this product. |
WOW! What can I say. This is the first time I have been disappointed by a Kuryakyn product. I was very excited to see these new grips. There is a design flaw. The cut outs for the heated grip wire does not matchup. You have to line up the "half moon" supplied with the grips with a half moon cutout on the grip. The Rt grip goes on as advertised but the alignment problem on the Lt side drops this product by two stars. I still installed the grips, half moon NOT lined up, and they look great. However, the grip on the Lt side will rotate a little. They may come off after the first ride. |
