| These look good! I agree with others that Kuryakyn should of added the 3 parts you have to take off the stock boards and included them. |
| Boards forever, will not live without them! Add some fresh lock-tite to the shifter pivot point to lock it in good. |
| Very nice! But, bring more wrenches. The bolts used under the crash bars must be an in between size? They say to "use adjustable wrench" |
| OK I have reviewed and studied all the other back rest, called around and checked all over, and this utopia kept comming out on top. It may be a bit more than others but after i got it and installed it "which was very simple" I fell in love, This is definetly a must have, the back & forward adjustment is quike & easy even wile riding, just lean forward to relieve pressure & adjust screw. will make all the difference in the world. I got the quick release to remove mine when my wife is with me and if you have short arms such as myself I would recommend getting some hanle bar adjusters as i plan to because it's so nice to sit back now and my arms are at full reach. |
| aAs other reviewer stated recieved product, installed in seconds & does deflect the heat from lower legs and knees. I was'nt convinced until I took the right one off and road the bike on a hot day to test and it does make a significant diference. You still get heat @ your legs but not nearly as much. |
| They serve their purpose the provided bolts are too short so you will have to use your originals.Best to have your wife sit on the bike in order to adjust arm pads to the proper position. |
| I bought the heated grips and bought the throttle boss at the same time. Unfortunately I was NOT informed that the heated grips require a different throttle boss so the original ones I bought didn't fit. I'm glad to see they have put out a set that fit properly, I now have them on order. I can tell you that once you use a proper throttle boss you always have one they really work. Shame on Kuryakyn for originally NOT advising they were working on getting out a correct set when I ordered the heated grips. |
| To be honest originally I wasn't going to put these on I was unsure if I liked them or not from the photos. I recently saw a wing driving down the interstate and took all of about two seconds to see how great they looked on the bike. Went home and ordered a set that day. I just installed them and I have to say these are fantastic. The really help improve the look of the bike from behind. The pictures don't do these justice you have to see them on a bike up close to really appreciate them. I didn't notice any sound difference as others have reported but my hearing ain't what it use to be. I can say this if there is a sound difference it's very slight. You'll love the easy install 15-20 minutes tops. |
| Highly recommend these. Great safety feature and easy to install. I found that you do not necessarily need to remove the mirror. If you are careful the wire can be slipped down the mirror shaft and by simple mirror adjustments you can finish the job. I got the wiring harness adapter because I have an 07 and Honda changed the harness up at the mirrors for 06 and 07. Along with the new stealth II lights these can't be beat. |
| Ditto what everyone else says about comfort and support you get with this backrest. Even on short rides the backrest is effective in reducing fatigue and back soreness. A must have addition, let your shop due the cutting if you are nervous, I did. |
| I was impressed. Friends have the much more expensive headsets and these sound much better than they do. Easy installation and just all-around great bargain. |
