| Kuryakyn made a nice looking functional product especially with the rubber "mudflap" attached. Right after I added this item I took a ride that lead me through some road construction with fresh tar and gravel. Not my idea of fun having to remove black tar from a red motorcycle. I did not even look until I got home. When I did I was supprised to find almost no trace of the experience. The Fender Extender kept the mess off of the front of the engine and trim completely. My only concern is the self sticking tape. So far all is well. |
| These adaptors made the Mirror, stealth Lights and front reflector a snap on my 2007 GL1800. Plug and Play as they say. The only thing that I was not sure of was how many I needed to add other lighting on the bike. As it turned out I had extra adaptors left over as I ordered some for the saddlebag and rear LED lighting additions. Nice to have spare parts. A well made product. |
| The cover fits well and will help prevent the dropsies. Pretty cheap protection for the trim around the key area. A must have. |
| This is a great Backrest that looks like it came with the bike - it should have. The most unnerving part was taking a knife to the saddle. Instructions were adequate. My bike has heated seats and I did have some concern about the heating element and wiring but after looking at the details on the Steve Saunders website you can see that things are pretty well protected. Believe the instructions. Nice storage pouch with the Backrest also. |
| I installed them on an 04 1800 you have to buy the newer model speaker boxes from honda 3 pieces on each side my total cost for all 6 pieces was 84.21,,,they look great and the wife loves 'em,, |

I went for these a year ago for looks and that part works. Added the helmet locks and they are functional, but flimsy and require hangers because the D ring just barely won't fit. The grip installation was a challenge and I lost 75% of the heat transfer (up here in Canada that's no small concession). Good news - I can now usefully spend my time at red lights tucking the rubbers back in. Maybe someday will reinstall them using my own methology. Along with the crap $40 Kury R/S fairing pouch I am staying away from all accessories till I see one mounted and happy on someone else's gwing. |
| This is one heavy manual. Everything is very well explained. Definately get the service manual from the manufacturer as oppsoed to others. |
| This is a 4 minute install. Beautiful chrome job on heavy piece. My 20 oz electric travel mug fits it perfectly and can plug into the power source in the fairing pocket. Did the install at the same time as the passenger armrests with cup holder. Now we can both keep our Starbucks coffee hot all day long. |
| This is one great backrest. Instructions are reasonably easy to follow. Cutting the seat was not that big a deal as the results are truly woth it. Instructions show an older seat bottom. Honda must have changed it so the photos did not look like what I have. Pushing the bar through the seat and ling up the bolt holes was the most difficult part of the whole operation. |
| Very well made. Bottom has a rectangular stiffener enclosed between two layers of material. there is NO cutout to go around the goldwing backrest on trunk - but appears to be flexable enough to warp & therefore fit on a 1500 trunk rack. |
| If you have front fairing trim and rear fender trim you have to add this. Looks great on titanium. Stick on. |
| Looks great, easy to clean and really clear at night, reduces the glare at night from on comming traffic. |
