basically the same complaint as the the other folks who have bought and installed this aftermarket item. it looked good and installation was fairly simple but the loading coil assembly seperated an eight of an inch, so that the upper part of the antenna, started wobbling after a month of riding and i can't find anyway to tighten it up. contemplating drilling a small hole in the loading coil assembly, and pouring the plastic cylinder full of epoxy to stabilize the two pieces.
Beautiful pegs. I got the lighted ones. Instructions could have been clearer. The pictures on the instructions suck. Had to go to another website to see different angles to make sure I was installing them correctly.
Good quality product and not expensive. A nice finish to the trunk and saddlebags.
These are easy to install and really add to the look of the 1800 from the side. Only word of caution is to make sure that you keep the top from contacting the frame until you have it exactly in place.
First thing my co-rider insisted I put on the 1800. She loves them and they are great in the winter keeping the cold air off my hands. Easy to install.
Had them on my 1500 and they are even better on the 1800. The bottom one directs the heat off my legs in the summer on on to them in the winter. Absolutely essential for the 1800.
A must if you have chrome rotor covers. Looks just fantastic
They fit quite easily and look fantastic at night.I had a problem one of the bulbs did not work. I took it apart and found a loose bulb. Suggest that you fire them up with a 12volt power supply to check them before fitting.
Really NICE extra chrome...
They done it again. Outstanding product and looks great - when full. Rain cover comes in real handy.
Great product. Easy to install, however, I suggest you buy the Star Washers and use them to replace the washers that comes with the rack. It really makes the rack sturdier.
Excellent addition. I can now charge my cell phone. Very easy to install.
