| Waaaay too much for old technology. The only reason I broke down and got it is so I can participate in conversations on group rides. Take your time on the install, be sure you hit all the right connections under the seat. |
| Well made, strong and nice looking finish considering it is never seen. Written directions and photos were clear. Not hard to install even for those with minimal skills or tools, but don't be fooled, installation is no 1 hour job either. Would recommend to others looking for a quality product. |
| I agree with everyone's reviews. This is a great book with a tremendous amount of info. I just wish I was a good enough shade tree mechanic to be able to use it as it should be used. At least I'll have it as a reference guide even if I'm unable to have the skills to use it accordingly. Good buy. |
| PPS, Well, spoke too soon. J&M refused to replace the speakers citing that they were damaged upon installation. Wish I had known that they wouldn't replace them. Would have saved me the shipping. Will wait for ShowChrome to come out with some front upgrades. In the meantime, the stock Honda speakers were re installed. Funny, didn't have any trouble re installing the originals. |
| On this set of lights they have a premium product; I got em on mi GW and they really let the oncomming traffic that you are there.They are worth the investment. |

I love the look, but I do have some comments. These re-use the OEM screws from the original moldings, and I think they might be a little too big. You can hear the mouldings crack as the screws go in. Mind you, it was only about 10 degrees C when I installed them. Sofening with a hair dryer, or drilling them out a bit might prevent. Make sure you understand how the trunk moulding fits together before attaching to the bike. The wiring sticks out the end of the center section in the way it is packaged, but cannot remain there once installed. If you only discover this once it is on the bike, you will have to remove it again. For the saddle bags, Kuryakan could have given a couple inches more wire for the side pieces (I had to extend mine in order to install them), and the rear piece has you drill two holes on each side to pass the wiring. These holes just cry out to be a bothersome leak in the saddlebag in the future, so I went and spent the $2.00 to buy rubber grommets for those holes, something else that should be part of the kit. But all-in all, a great enhancement to the bike once installed. |
| I particularly like the electrical section. Currently researching the circuit for the signal light cancel switch to activate a garage door opener. |
| A little difficult to install, I ended up using a wood clamp - gently - to snap the two halves together. My bike already had a set when I purchased it, but they were either an older design, or were installed incorrectly, and the rubber insets kept working themselves out at the ends. The replacement set has a single piece rubber insert, where the ones I removed had two piece equivalents. Did the installer of the originals cut them in half to make installation easier? If that is the case, they ruined them. |
| Fits perfectly. It can be flipped over, so if you want perfect symmetry left to right, it will also install on the left side. I am not tempted, but I like it on the throttle. |
