| I said the radio knobs were the easiest, but this is just as easy. You have to kind of bend the metal (very easy with hands), to right shape, pull off the tape and press on. Hair dryer works great in winter, but was a warm day and just put this on my bike seat for a half hour and worked great. |
| I didn't change the little clips out, but did press down pretty hard. The first one went on really easy, then the next two were a little harder, but the last two were bears. Keep in mind that the little dots are different on a couple of knobs, but is an easy catch. Really the easiest upgrade yet. |
| Absolutely fantastic! Really dresses up the bike from behind. Installation took all of 5 minutes. |

I pondered the cheaper solutions in GL hitches, debated what I really needed and what would be nice to have, talked to Honda service technicians to see what hitches they would prefer to work around. All reviews came back the same, including the Honda service techs. The Bushtec V2 is a great way to go. I did the install myself one afternoon, and other than the swing-arm side lower nut (PITA) everything just fell into place. The Isolation wiring harness that came with my kit was a dream to install, the hitch is very secure with only two points of contact on the subframe, and four points of contact on the main frame. I've used it with the Rivco cooler rack and a Buchtec Turbo+2 trailer and this hitch works like a charm and is very stable. The ability to remove the center section really helps the techs in removing the rear tire, which makes them happier and saves me some money on service time. ;-) I am very pleased with this product! |
| Unfortunately these didn't arrive in time to run with us on our big trip (so far) this year, so I can only tell how they've performed on smaller overnight trips around my area. I'm very pleased with these bags and have had no problem getting them to fit where they need to. A great price and very durable material, two thumbs way up. |

Works like a charm to tote around a smaller (12 pack-ish) cooler. My original plan was to use this rack in two places, on the bike hitch and then purchase the extra coupler for the home built trailer to fit it in the tongue. I don't need that now since I landed a good deal on a trailer with a large cooler attached, but I'm keeping this rack around for those times when I don't feel like hauling the big cooler. ;-) Very sturdy, doesn't wiggle, performed like a champ on a 1,000 mile trip. I honestly forgot it was back there half the time. |
| Just installed the spoiler and included this wiring harness at the same time. For the price of this harness and the fact that you have everything exposed might as well remove the seat and the rear panel between the saddle bags and include this in the installation. The hardest part of the installation is reinstalling the backrest. |
| I picked this up for our March trip down to the Gulf Coast, approximately 1,000 miles round trip. This bag worked like a dream. I didn't pack it heavy, just put rain gear, cold weather ski pants and the bike's overnight cover in it, then threw some extra gloves for whatever temps might come my way. There was plenty of space for my gear and my wife's, and we still had room to spare. The Velcro straps are like vice grips, once you have all 6 straps secure it's not moving. I've done a couple of local trips since then and still love this bag; it really frees up the normal cargo area for the 3 pc luggage set. ;-) |
| Very nice piece, finish is flawless, instructions were very easy to follow and the installation was easy enough with no frustration. Hardest part was realizing that once you pulled back on the drill trigger and you hear the drill, “you’re about to drill 5 holes into your $20,000 (+) machine”. However, this is an awesome add-on and in my opinion worth every penny. This is one of those safety items that makes you wonder why Honda does not include as standard equipment on the machine. It not only adds to the look of the back of the machine but the light is at eye level with the vehicles behind you. I also installed the running light wiring harness at the same time. Highly recommended |
| Just installed these on Friday, and went on a 300 mile ride on Saturday. What a difference!! Great feel very comfortable and they are an absolutely a beautiful grip. Highly recommended |
