Got mine today just in time for the Holiday weekend. Outstanding look over stock tips and it's Kuryakyn so you know the quality is there. I noticed a very slight difference in tone, mostly at idle but it's so slight you could hardly tell the difference. I'm planning a trip to Ashville from Chicago next month and will be pulling a Bushtech so these will come in handy keeping the exhaust off the trailer. Thanks guys for getting it here so quickly. I will need to order the hitch next.
Man I must have 4 or 5 different plastic cleaners and waxes. This stuff is awesome on all the tupperware and windshield. Just get some Mothers back to black for the dash and Mothers metal paste for the wheels and your set. I really am throwing everything else away, but this stuff.
The left side went on, but had to shave the little hole so that the reverse lever would line up. I just took out about 3/16 of an inch on the back side of the circle. The right side actually ended up being about a 1/4 of an inch too long for my bike. My son and I pushed to get it in and actually cracked it. The little tabs in the back of it broke off. Just kind of sitting in there. I gave it 3 stars, because it didn't fit quite right, but still looks awesome.
Quick and easy, just remember to shape and don't forget the wife's hairdryer
This is a horrible product, do not waste your money. Nearly impossible to fit to the motorcycle, one of the structural parts is nearly "pot metal". The chrome flaked off immediately... Just terrible...
Overall, they look pretty damn good. Even wife likes the look. Makes a BIG different on being seen at night, too.

Trunk lights were pretty easy. Took a few hours, due to not having manual tools. Still pretty easy, instructions were good. Saddlebab lights . . . going good until the splicing and drilling. I came up with several different approaches which could have been used instead of splicing wiring. I was okay with splicing, but Kurakyn could have used the same plug-n-play technique as the Trunk lights. |
Pretty easy to installed. I order risers to make cleaning under rack a little easier. Instruction easy to follow, but would recommend having experience and patient when drilling. Start out WITH a small pilot holes. I used a cordless drill.
Looks great, works great. Perfect length and very stable. No instructions provided but a pretty simple install. Attach the spring before bolting it on your bike.
The only thing good I can say about this item is the high quality of material. Do they work NO, and if you have Highway pegs forget using them because deflectors force you to try and ride like a bowlegged cowboy. With feet on pegs deflectors strike the inside of your leg between ankle and knee. I removed deflectors and if someone must have a set I will make them a real deal.
Received my volt meter the other day. The hardest part of the entire installation was making the hole. It looks, and works perfect. Should have done this sooner. Took all of a half an hour to complete.
