I have the Ergo II pegs and the 6" arms would not position where I need them. I'm 6'2", and the original peg position was not right. Spoke to the fine people at Kuryakyn before ordering these, and they were real helpful, got an extra inch or so outboard (on each side) compared to the original arms. Great modification for me on my 08 Wing.
What a deal for under $25 you get a left and right door insert. Very well made and fits perfectly. Grommets used for mounting holes, key holder, 4 small stretch loops for flashlight, pens and or small tools. Top pocket about 2" narrower than bottom. Pockets have velcro enclosure across the entire flap. Nothing is going to fall out of these pockets. The "WingStuff" logo is silk-screened.
I agree with Wingding's mention if you mis-align while inserting it becomes a PITA. With that said it is a must have for HJC helmets as their "D" rings are stamped and not round as most other brands.
I am sure everyone has read tons of threads about what oil to use. I am a die-hard synthetic advocate. I find this blend the cats meow for the GL and has tested the best verses other synthetics in my Blackstone reports.
Creates many good comments during the holidays. Order early to have in time for all the Holiday Charity runs.
Very high quality, no leaking when filled with ice. Perfect fit and does not interfere with side door pockets.

Finally a program that rewards compulsive motorcycle parts/accessory buyers. I have saved over $500 over "other" well known Internet accessory sites in just three orders. These folks are great to deal with and I will continue to keep my business here. |
I'll echo the previous mentioning of poor customer service and no GL instructions. This piece is really slick when used with the Big Bike trunk LEDS. Decent install instruction can be found in this thread. https://www.gl1800riders.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=89697&highlight=wig+wag
Nice quality heavyweight "T". Graphics hold up well to washing.

Great grips, they show well and the larger diameter is easier on my hands.
GREAT PRODUCT! I used the Labor Day special and got this for $269.00, free shipping. Installed in 20 minutes. Shifter side is real real easy and flipping up the board to deploy the kickstand isn't a big a deal as some people make it out to be. The brake side is easy too, but definately do the "hold the splined shaft" process they recommend. I took a long handled straight screwdriver and held it against the back side of the splined shaft and wedged it against the master cylinder. Slid the replacement brake pedal over the shaft and used a small rubber hammer to tap the arm to it's seated position, then snug it all down. This is the best price and shipping I have found. I don't know why I waited so long (6 months) to add these. Hal [email protected]
