very nice rack, the crome looks good, looks great on the wing, dont even start this job until you run a tap down the threads so the bolts will go in. it took me about 30 min. to get the threads clean enough to get the bolts in. mearsure twice drill once.
These things are the Cheese! Wow do they change the appearance of the bike. Easy install and factory fit.
After couple of months, the eagle is not gold any more. The paint is bad quality.
Cool little gizmo for the remote. Simple to put on the remote and helps protect it and the key guard. I think I need to invest in a chrome key accent for the dash now!!
Chrome does it again for my bike! Added these when I replaced the lower cowl with a chrome one. Good quality metal and chrome and Kuryakyn has nice clear directions. You can use the alcohol pads provided or get a bottle of alcohol and a cloth and clean the old cover thoroughly before installing. Like anything else that adheres it needs to be spotless or it won't stay.
These mad a big difference in the way the bike looks! I had the wife get these for me Christmas in anticipation of getting a trailer in the future. Took ten minutes to install. You need an 8mm wrench to remove them and 10mm to install with the supplied bolts. The old ones came off super easy even after 3 years on the bike. The holes on the new ones lined up perfectly. Thanks Kuryakyn for a very nice product.
This product is made by Addon and is of good quality. When installing make sure you put tape on the paint before drilling to keep from scratching. There were no instructions with mine and had to go slow to get it right. You will have to take out the trunk lid liner to install this. Once installed it was solid and looks great!! Can't wait to try it out with the rack bag we got too!!
Kuryakyn does it again with this little piece of bling! Simple but very effective at bringing out the front of the bike. Seems to balance out the chrome against the paint. Easy install with the double back tape. Make sure you clean the mounting area well with alcohol and let it dry before mounting. Beware, once stuck it's there!
What a difference it makes on my 05 Metallic Blue bike!! Chrome and blue, doesn't get any better than this!! It was a bear to install but with my wife helping and reminding me to be patient it finally went on. I did the timing cover in chrome at the same time and it really dressed up the front of the bike. Just remember to take the bolt clips off the old cowl and put them on this one. Do the lower bolts, then the upper corner bolts, the black pins, and then the upper middle bolt. Things lined up easier that way.
This is a good quality product. The rain cover is a nice touch. Has plenty of ways to attach to just about any rack. There are pockets galore on this thing! You have plenty of room to carry just about anything. Looking forward to our first overnight trip when it warms up. This bag will help keep the trunk and saddlebags empty.
Very much worth the price. Easy install once you get the factory plugs where you can reach them inside the pocket. Works very well and I like the fact it has a cover even though it's inside the left pocket. Good quality ShowChrome product.
I put these on my bike when I bought it, last Oct. '07 it's the best thing I ever put on my bike. I never had any problems with it.
