The heated grips would not be the same without this little goodie. Helps ease fatigue when you can't use cruise control.
Great looks, I have had this on the bike for 22K miles. The lower cowl shows some signs of pitting, but this cover is still just like new. Of all the chrome pieces that I have added, this one has remained the cleanest. When you first put it on you feel that it wont stay, but it certainly will.
Nice product. Good price and relatively easy install. Great for group riding
Looks great with the right side accessory. Dresses up the area perfectly without the fear of glare from the sun. Need to bend this one also to get it just right.
Looks great in an otherwise drab area. Need to bend to fit contour of controls. Be careful because you only get one chance to get right as they are too flexible to remove if installed incorrectly.
Nice looking piece. I just hope it stays in place. It seems a little loose with the double sided tape. May remove and glue it in to make sure it doesn't get lost.
C'mon let's make this product right. I had to cut my old knobs to remove clips rendering them useless if I decide to go back to them. Go ahead and charge another dollar. I'm sure that is more than enough to cover the cost. Other than that these look great.
Nice addition on my GL1800. Really helps on long rides. Very versatile in that you can swivel these 360 degrees to fit any size rider. Can also mount on lower arm of engine guard.
Really helps keep the dust down on my gravel road. Take your time drilling holes in fender. Tape only allows you one chance to get it right.
Like a lot of other comments....scared me to death to cut the seat. Watched the video on Utopia's website and it helped. I had a little trouble lining up the brace but with a little coaxing it went in fine. The feel this backrest gives you is unbelievable. I'm afraid I'll fall asleep on long rides. I intend to replace the screw holding the back rest in with a cotter pin for quick removal. My wife says it is a little crowded now that the rest is in place.
Looks great on my GL1800. Should have a template to drill holes. Would have made lining up with rack easier. Be careful, instructions say to use masking tape to protect paint as you install. It helps but I still got minor scuffs in paint. I mounted approximately 1 1/2 inches back on trunk and it is no problem to wax under without ordering risers. Looking forward to seeing how this item holds up on trip to Daytona Bike Week.
