| The look is well worth it. I had to go to the hardware store and buy some longer mounting hardware. Hindsight being 20/20 I think I would have put some silicone between the handle and the trunk to give myself more insurance from water leaks. Not sure I trust the supplied seal. |
| This stuff is great. I have an 04 VTX also, and it has never been "washed". It has only been cleaned with this cleaner and it looks almost new. Works great on paint or chrome. Good stuff. |
| Just installed these on my 08 over the weekend and logged about 30 miles. Love the new look but was hoping for a little more growl than I got. They sound like the stock pipes most of the time. Noticeably deeper tone only during low rpm - high torque riding. Too bad COBRA doesn't offer a louder model because these are the best looking pipes available, in my opinion. |
| Love 'em. I installed them in about 15 minutes. No problems what-so-ever. I love the fact they make your grip "fatter", but I do understand others' concerns about that. I wanted "fatter" grips,that's why I installed them. |
| Probably the easiest accessory you'll ever attach to your wing! I love the backrest, however, my wife hated it. She had to spread her legs extremely far apart to get around them and they still dug into her thighs. I now have an Utopia backrest. I love it and so does my wife. |
| I installed these on my '08 Wing. Very easy to install, but I haven't found a comfortable position yet. It seems my feet want to slide off and I have to "hold" me feet on them. Very frustrating, but I'm sure I'll find the "sweet" spot before long. |
