Got this a couple of weeks ago, by my first posting on this, and I got the kit not too soon. I got a punchure when I ran over a screw a couple of days ago so I used the kit per directions and it plugged the tire perfectly. There is an extra tool the picture does not show, it is a reamer to prep the hole for the plug. I also found that the tip screws on to the awl tool and it is easier to push it into the tire with it on the awl first, then screw the gun onto the tip per the instructions. This tool is absolutly the best and must have tool along with the slime air compressor so you dont get stuck out and have to call a tow truck. |
| I was a little hesitant about spending money on a membership to save money,(thought it was a gimmick) but was pleasantly suprised at how much i really saved, not to mention recouping my membership fee!! Customer service is by far, one of the best!! |
| I replaced my stock with the Quantum Hard Coated Windshield and I did not noticed any difference in having a regular windshield. In time I will replace it. |
| as others have stated they tend to bind and i find myself hitting the toe and then the heel to get it to come into the right gear ,but they look great. |
| Looks good and works as advertised except the LEDs dim a little when using as directional signal. Not the easiest to fish wires to the mirrors. Used a couple of tie wraps and actually removed one of the mirrors to do the first side. Was able to accomplish the other side without removing the mirror. Son is auto mechanic and he helped a lot. |
| This is undoubtedly an excellent product that I hope I never have to use. But in any event, I wouldn't recommend it as an onboard tour accessory. Stop & Go also make a smaller version complete with pressure cartridges for roadside re-inflation. That's the one that you want to take on the road, because it's smaller and complete. (Check out the Stop & Go website). I'm surprised that Wingstuff doesn't offer the more complete and compact option. |
| Installed SVR18 4-13-2002 in a 1978 GL1000 and it finally went dead today 4-18-2009. I got my money's worth out of this one. It beats the old wet type of battery in the old GoldWings. |
| Just got back from a long ride and it was time to get the bugs off. Tried this cleaner and what a nice easy job it made of the task. Cuts through the bug guts removed glue etc. Very reasonably priced and does a great job. You can't go wrong with this. |
| These floorboards really complete the look with already having installed the drivers floorboards and the highway pegs. My only complaint with these floorboards is that you would think for the price, Kuryakyn would complete them with the detent ball, plate and spring?!!! Good thing that Wingstuff makes the price a little more bearable!!! |
| Good value, as compared to other orginizer products for bags and trunk,...because these carry more stuff, period. Was able to rid my trunk of all dusting rags, insurance/regisration papers, pens/pads, tire gauge, tire repair kit, etc. Agree with and am thankful for other's who left feedback, that recommended adding either double sided tape or velcro, prior to install. I followed suit and it definitely improves on keeping the unit up against the door, which is good. Overall, good value and plenty roomy, considering the price. |
