As soon as I saw these on the website I knew I wanted them. The open transmission space is not that attractive and a pain to keep clean. These covers look great and the black mesh provides ventilation and flair to the bike. They really look good with the matching frame covers! The only glitch I had was a factory blemish on one of them. It was really minor but I noticed it right away and I ordered them for a brand spanking new Wing. I called Wingstuff and they said “No Problem, we’ll send you a replacement pair asap and arrange return of the blemished ones”. It was one of the best customer support experiences I’ve had in a long time! I got my replacements(which were perfect) and credit for the first set in a couple days. Congratulations to Wingstuff for Being such a great business to shop with!
Bought this for cold weather and it is the warmest thing to wear in winter. no need for any heated gearexcept gloves
Very well made, easy to install and so much more comfortable than the stock pegs on the Goldwing non- tour DCT. I love them.
These are really simple to install. And a must have if you’re going to add Goldstrike accessories.
These seem to have a fair amount of adjustability, and installed easily. It took as long for the fit for my wife, as it did the initial install though. We haven't ridden with them yet, but the test setup in the garage seems like they will be similar to the ones I had on my 2012 that she really liked.
Easy to install & pair. super quick shipping from wing stuff.
Nice looking, but impractical. Too small for a standard Tervis or stainless insulated containers. Will hold a 12 oz can.
We ordered two of these awesome quality with nice looking logos...they do run small order one size bigger.
Keeping it simple with the most important reason I will not run another tire. Bridgestones are great in the rain!!!
These look really sharp, and I appreciate that they're adjustable, but there is still a fair amount of air that hits your hands, and I found the top of my hands (even in gloves) got cold on a cool evening ride. When installing, be sure to position the mount correctly, directly on the ridge of the bottom of the mirror, otherwise when you go to adjust position the whole thing will move. I don't regret the purchase, but I wish they were a bit more effective at their intended task.
First, the good: 1) they look great and really suit the bike. 2) they work reasonably well, shielding my legs from air when closed, allowing air through when open, and (coolest ) of all, also can be adjusted so warm air from the radiator washes over your legs, which is nice on a cool evening ride. Now, the bad: 1) costly for what they are 2) difficult to install correctly, you have to be very careful to ensure that the holes all line up and that you don't overtighten, if you do it's possible to break the mount point on the deflector (I did this and had to fix it with crazy glue). 3) the two-sided tape is sub-optimal - I installed them using the tape, but will be replacing it with thinline velcro to facilitate easy removal.
Installed on a new Taka windshield. Had to send first one back as it was too small. Return process was easy and customer service was very helpful in getting me the correct one.
