Maybe my stock windshield has more angle to it but the bag has to be really jammed into the dash. It is cool though and I can use it for several things. Take it or leave it...would I buy another...ah no.

Received the pan with limited packing in my opinion. The edges were bent in the large section, no problem to straighten out. Install was a snap, agree with the minor difficulty of pulling the side covers out. I did tell a bit of difference in passing 18 wheelers but I bought it for the protection foremost. This is a most component for the Wing!!!

I added these to my existing rotor covers. Wish i would have just got both together. While they are visable during the day, they really stand out at night. I connected mine to a seperate switch for more control. Once the tape sticks make sure you have it where you want it. Sweet look.

Why are the lights green? I plan on chaging mine out later to red to match the bike color. The size does not fit real well in the hole. also the double sided tape broke loose in two days, had to get additional tape to adhear it. Cutting the holes evenly in the side was okay just take your time.

The switches did work well for the ring of fire.

Black Anodized Sidestand Pad

I think it looks a little odd while attached to the stand while down. But it sure stopped the kickstand from sinking into asphalt!

Took only a few minutes to install, and well worth the money.

Factory OEM LED Lighted Trunk Spoiler for GL1800 1st Gen
ITEM CODE: PG00029

Really finishes off the look of the trunk. The paint matched my 06 titanium perfectly.

The extra brake light really adds to the visibility of the bike from behind.

These are the business, they really add bling to the side of the bike and cover up the exposed frame. They only take five minutes to fit and its made even easier if you have a friend to hold back the tank panel until you secure the holding screws. Then its easy to press the top into position. Great product.

Service Repair Manual for GL1500

This is a must have if you do any work on your Goldwing. Some photo's are too small and too close, so perception is sometimes difficult, but it will pay for itself just showing how to get the bodywork off.

Oil Filter Wrench

Nice piece of equipment. I bashed my thumb nail, but that was my fault for not applying the wrench properly. When used as intended it is very effective.

XP Rear Brake Modulator
ITEM CODE: PU20500030,   SKU: PU20500030

Just had dealer install Backoff XP. Unit only flashes. Will not finish the cycle with the constant on. Tried both modes. The repeat and one time only cycle. Will flash only with no constant on in either mode.

Called the manufacturer. Seems the GL1800 draws 11 amps with all brake lights. XP unit has a built in failsafe cut off switch at 10 amps. It would be hardware upgrade to fix the unit. Then Why sell to Goldwing owners?

The original Back Off will work up to 15 amps but has no failsafe. It could get too hot if you run too much amperage through it.

They gave me 2 options.

1. Upgrade to LED taillights. They do not pull as many amps and the unit will cycle as it should.

2. Run to the upper brake lights only. The bottom lights will light up when brake applied but only the top/trunk lights will run through the flash/constant on cycle using the once only mode or the repeat mode. Should still be sufficient to be seen. The unit needs to be mounted in the trunk for this.

My option 3 was to just take it back for a refund. Still thinking on that.

Factory Honda CB Antenna for GL1800

Installed this on a 2009 GL1800. Picked this brand over others. Just wanted it to match and be of good quality. Installation is a piece of cake. Marks on in the trunk as advertised. As the instructions say, start with a small drill bit and work your way up. If you don't have metric drill bits, search the web for a conversion chart and always pick the smaller bit that is close to the size you need. I used this conversion chart (https://www.csgnetwork.com/drillsizeconvert.html) You can all ways make the hole a little bigger if needed. I wasn't too excited about drilling holes in my wing with only 2000 miles on it though. I agree with others that trying to set the SWR is pretty much impossible using the motorolla type ends that are on the antenna and CB radio. SWR meter is expecting PL-259 type of connections. Went to Radio Shack and found a series of adapters to go from Motorolla to BNC to PL-259. With the added length (almost 3 inches) to the antenna side using the adapters, the SWR reading was relative high. I'm hoping, as others have asked, that the antenna and CB radio (both Honda Brand) are somewhat pre-matched as far as the SWR is concerned. However, reception is great. Have not had a chance yet to determine transmission distance. Regardless, it looks great and balances out the rear end of the bike.
