Fits tighter than a glove on my sidestand. I had to use a rubber mallet and lots of arm muscle to get it on. It still didn't go on all the way, but I think it would take superman to get it back off. I used blue locktight on the set screw. My bike doesn't sink into the ground or asphalt anymore on hot days. When I travel, I mainly park my bike on dirt or grass, and this pad has done it's job.
Love the added protection from scratching the dash.
Handling is greatly improved, the ride is not. If you are a smaller rider, myself I am about 175 lbs. The ride is rough, I removed them and put the stock springs back in. I am still looking for a comfortable way to help a weak front suspension. I ride a 2004 Wing and it's a great bike, but the front suspension needs a little help, these springs are not it, unless you are a larger person maybe or want a touring canyon racer!
This is the best half cover that I have every used. I use mine daily to cover my Wing at work and the cover last about a year before it starts to wear out.
Great Rack! I had the dealer install this as I did not want to mess it up. I had it installed with the star washers which helps spread the load, not to mention they really look great too. Very sturdy construction and the rubber insert really helps to keep the load from shifting around. I've had lots of compliments on this, very happy with it. This was one of my few good decisions!!
I made a 4,300 mile run from South Texas through New Mexico, Colorado, Utah , Arizona and back home using the Beaded seat. The Beaded seat work very well and did not have any discomforted from setting on them. In the heat the beads lets air flow underneath to keep me dry. I left them on even when riding up in the mountains and the cold air did not present any problem.
Great accessory after being installed. Wife finally was able to endure a long ride in comfort. Installed last night and rode 300 miles today. Only problem like others have said...Why doesn't Kuryakyn include the small ball; spring and bracket. It is a pain in the butt to disassemble the old boards and re-install onto the new boards. These items should be small change and should be included. Also, having a Motor Trike conversion, the boards don't go all the way down. They hit the rear fender of the trike.
The Helmet Fresh works great and is simple to use. I purchased two bottles, one for the bike and the second for use at home. It works on other odor problems you might encounter.
Coasty was right on. You need to connect the white'black wires not the red but to the white/red connector in the rear. Must remove the rear cover where lic. plate is and the connectors are at upper part in a black boot. Must snake wire through opening on left side to under seat area. Start at this end first. Gave it a 4 for poor instructions.
No problems at all with the installation and the sound were just a little less than what I expected. The sound is ok and a couple of my neighbor made comments about how the new sound of my Goldwing. Now the quality and looks of these mufflers are very good and they do change the look of the bike. "Thumbs Up"
This is a nice add on for your wing 4 stars because of the small gap they still look good for the money.
Great sound. What I have been looking for. Installation was easy except for: 1. Bolts holding horns to bracket did not fit very well; used tap and die to make better and 2. instructions included a wiring diagram that was not accurate. I called Rivco and they said the the instructions I received should not have been there. I was the second caller that day. Tech said he would look into it.
