| Good install. The plug and play connectors are a must. I added black tape around the wires to help hide them. |

Purchased this and attempted an install but could not use the green plug because it is being used by the intercom system. Have been told to get a splitter from Electrical Connections. It would be easier if Wingstuff added the splitter as an option rather than having to go find what is needed to use both in the same socket. Otherwise, if you have no intercom using the socket, it's an easy install. Mine still waits to be installed. |

This product is simply amazing!! The only words to describe how smooth my GL1800 rides now after installing the Centramatic balancers is WOW, Wish I had these installed on my GL1800 from the very first mile I put on the bike. No doubt the best accessory I have ever purchased for my GL1800. Thanks Wingstuff John |
| I installed the Utopia Driver Backrest in no time at all... took longer to get the seat off and back on that it did to attach the backrest to the seat. What a wonderful addition to my bike! |
| Just installed. I agree with ED, the lights dimmed with the turn signal so I experimented and reversed the red and green wires when I connected the second light. It did not dim at all so I reversed it on the other light and they look great and really light up the front side at night. I gave it 4 stars due to having to reverse wires from Kuryakyn's directions. |
| great item to have very useful on many items have had this installed since i first got my 2006 never had any problems |
| Works great, best price I could find was on Wingstuff.com. Attached the lead to the battery which gives me easy access. Overall i'm happy with my purchase.. |
| Put the dynabeads in a new stone on the front and a new Kuhmo, 2oz in the front & 3oz in the back of the gl1800. Ran front tire at 40lbs and rear at 34lbs. Front cupped just like it did on the last one, and both tires hopped badly at high speed. My friend used them too, and it appears that they work well if your tire needs no more than 1/4 oz. Tires that need more weight don't balance very well with them. Just replaced my tires w/new ones, used balancer this time...OK to 130mph. |
| Installed in one hour. I love this rack! Sits high so I can wax my bike easily, yet it carries a low enough profile to look cool from any angle (NOTE: I do have a spoiler though). Make sure you position it on your deck so you can get your hands in to all areas when waxing. Visualize the finished product several times and practice before drilling and you'll be fine. Also, don't over-tighten. |
| Installed the Cobras at 12,400 mi on 2004 Goldwing; put 60s on rear. I drive approx 80% time at highway speed, the rest on paved twisting country roads. First, the negative - there's a small but noticeable wobble at speed between 10 and 20 mph. Don't know why. All of the recommended remedies & fixes on the Goldwing already made (NOTE: My Mechanic even rebuilds wrecked cycles for insurance companies - he knows all the tricks). Now the positives - at speeds after 20 mph, you're in for the ride of your life! I used to listen to the radio on my Dunlops, now I don't. I prefer the quiteness. I tend to run 80 mph, all the time and nearly everywhere! Passing 18-wheelers, no problem. Rain, no problem! I did change the front tire though. Called AVON, they authorized a switch. But, the second tire still has the wobble at speed under 20 mph such as the rare times I am stopping. I've so far put 4,000 mi on the set, will put 400 this weekend just for the fun of it! |

Just finished 4,000 miles with these. Mixed opinion. They are not uncomfortable. They do seem to keep you a bit cooler in hot weather. In cold weather I would take them off so your seat heater can be more effective. Also After several hours, I remove them just to change the circulatory patter in my posterior. So good and just okay would be my rating. Be sure you take them of every month to clean the seat and let the seat foam "breath".; 10,000 NYC cabbies can be wrong. AND they are cheap. Next year they will have chrome! |
| has anyone tried these on a NON Trike?? Just to get better side wind control?? I'd be interested to see how that works. |
