I just came back from a 12 day, 3600 mile trip up the west coast. I bought this bag just before the trip. It fit everything I wore and then some. It's got plenty of Velcro straps on it to hold it in place. I strapped it to the rack on the back. I also used bungee cords, which really the Velcro would have done just fine. I like it came with a rain cover. Because just south of Oakland, CA. I hit rain. I pull over under and over pass and pulled out my rain gear and the cover. It worked great. Although I kept the cover in a saddle back for easy access. I never did get anymore rain. I also like the 2 little pouch's. I put a scarf for easy access in one pocket along with a bottle of hand sanitizer in the outside mesh pocket. The other pouch I put my toothpaste & sunblock. This bag is well worth the price! |
Absolutely love mine, but must include caveat: as pointed out by a local helmet dealer, modifying a helmet could affect safety or DOT rating. I'm personally satisfied that it works well enough that I put one on my helmet and my wife's.
I have owned one of these for 2 years and love it! It is strong, well made, & completely waterproof! It holds a surprising amount of extra gear! Easy to install, load and unload. It looks good too!
Despite all the rave reviews regarding the centramatic balancers, i still had my reservations. However after installing them, i cannot stress how smooth they make the bike feel. There is not even a hint of vibration on the bars - even at above legal speeds. I took the original weights off my wheels, so the centramatics seem to be doing their job perfectly. I will update my review once i have covered 10 or 15,000 kms.
Everone should have one, Bike will STAND up anywere know, easy to put on. Thanks Sammy
Not to hard to install. Had to get pass the fear of the first drilling of the hole. Looks good but it has been 8 months since installation and I have noticed that there is rust formation in the welded joints.
Ordered these about 5 months ago and they have performed well. Well worth the money. Wing Stuff continues to exceed my expectations for sales and service.

1 * for the look, and that is about it. The lighting provided is quite unsufficient, those are more about being seen than anything else. As said by others, they are NOT waterproof, and the brackets are just a joke. Save your $ and avoid. I guess I 'll fabricate my own brackets and use some H3 small lights from Walmart. |
There were five stars for this product in the beginning. After 60.000 kilometers it is loosing chrome on both sides !!! This is definitely not the article for the Goldwing. If you dont't belive, see the photos on my Facebook.
Great product it was easy to put on (about 1 hour) its just one more thing i can check off my list...a must have.Looks like it come from the factory on the bike..
Had these installed at Wingstuff while getting a new front tire. Very smooth at highway speeds all the way to triple digits. Hope the tire wear will be improved. So far happy with the product.
