Took me five minutes to install. Did not seem to reduce the storage room noticeably. We now have a his and hers place to store all that little stuff that otherwise would float around the bike. Love them.

The first thing I have to say is "Watch your speedometer after having the Centramatic wheel balancers installed folks." My 'sense of touch' was knocked out of whack from the smooth ride. When I thought I was doing 70 MPH on the freeway, I was actually moving along at 90, that's when my sense of sight took over, realizing I was going faster then everyone else, that's when I looked down at the speedometer. After I set my cruise control, about twenty minutes later I looked down at my hands on the grips and realized I had a totally relaxed hold on the handlebars with my fingers just resting on the grips. As for the twisties, the tracking is "smooth as silk." I have read hundreds of reviews from various Goldwing Forums and nothing negative was said about the handling characteristics of the Centramatic balancers. A few have said they're ugly, but once they're installed, you have to know what you're looking for. They don't call attention to themselves and that's just fine with me. Wingstuff has the best price on the Centramtic's and use their service department, they're extremely friendly and professional. Once again Wingstuff and Centramatic's has my five stars. Anyone who has further questions, go to https://wingridersboard.com/forum/ and my user name is ekurtike. Send me a PM. Kurt |
Love the look, and the compliments, but during install I noticed that the chrome does not fit as flush as I thought it would, so the right side is not flush as the left. You might want to make sure that you do any kind of bending or adjustments to it before install. Once it's sealed it's sealed.
Love the size of the speakers, love the different style than the J & M, speakers sounds ok, except there is no bass only treble. Also most of all this is the second upper cord I've had to have in 6 months now I'm about to call and complain about this second one doing the same thing as the first (one speaker going in and out each time you turn your head)aggravatin'.
This is just the right touch to the front of the fairing. Thanks to all the other reviews I let the trim set in the sun for about an hour and put a slight gentle bend on it. Worked great. Thanks for all the info.
love these pegs..works great..poor instructions took about 1.5 hours to install .5 to figure out where all the washers go..
I had these installed at Wingstuff and have to say I was surprised how well they worked.. I was dealing with a noticeable "buzz" in the grips at higher speeds and thought it was just a GL 1800 trait. I still have the stock tires with 4600 miles on them and the rear is cupping already, the front is still ok. Upon leaving I didn't notice much, but once I jumped on the freeway it was really smooth and the "buzz" was gone. Even my passenger noticed it was smoother. They're not much to look at but they work as advertized!
Thus far I like it and hope to see more
Easy to install but when you get to where it say's remove seat, DON'T. Just feed it through with a hanger. Had this installed in an hour.
These may work for some people, but they didn't work for me with only the one position option. I sent these back and ordered the Kuryakyn brand handlebar risers that have a variety of position options in one kit.
Just got them installed. Wow, what a difference. I've had the wobble since day 1. The wobble is all gone now, not even a hint of a wobble now. I can't believe that Honda doesn't acknowledge that there is a problem. I've heard a lot of good things about these bearings and they're all true. If the wobble bothers you like it did me, it's worth the money to install them. My shop charged me 3 hours labor to install them. Money well spent!
It is a very well designed and executed additional storage solution for when the wife wants to bring her makeup collection. It was one of the easiest installs too, no problems (thats very unusual...) Check my gallery for a couple of pictures with the rain cover on and off. I wish I could have bought it here but it's a new item for wingstuff. Better deal here than from the manufacturer!
