| I have had these on the 08 for about 3000 miles now. I did not opt for the fork brace as well but I must say I was skeptical at first. But with this item getting such good reviews from other riders I decided to get them. I was changing tires anyway so what a better time to install them. Funny thing is my local Honda dealer wouldn't put them on because they are not OEM. Needless to say that dealer no longer gets my business. Anyway, unless you install these on your bike it's hard to describe the difference. There are times when I'm on good asphalt and I swear the bike drives itself. I can steer the bike with just two finger tips if I wanted. No more deceleration wobbles no more odd handling. The tires still cup somewhat but nothing like they did before. Maybe the fork brace will be next. But if you have been on the fence on this one...get off it and order them today. It's one decision you'll never look back on and will be happy you spent the money. |

| This is my review on installing the Bushtec V2 hitch on a 2008 GL1800 airbag model. Pros Seems to be built with quality materials Powder Coated for years of protection Design is specific to the Gold Wing… it fit perfect Great low profile Vertical design Packaged and protected very well for shipping Once installed it seems very very solid Cons Expensive I’m with others would pictures really be that hard to provide? Pack of screws were missing several important bolts, washers, and nuts (I blame Bushtec directly for this) had to go to hardware store before even starting Receiver pin seems loose and allows hitch to wobble quite a bit. All together it took me about 3-hours to install with a few moments of help from the misses. I had the bike on a lift and the rear wheel removed. Without doing this I have no idea how someone would complete this task. It would be very difficult in my opinion. So if you order this hitch make sure to count all the nuts and bolts and have someone help. The instructions are okay at best. With all the complaints about this I’m surprised Bushtec hasn’t addressed this. But I suppose if people keep buying them why would they? But to be fair the hitch is very solid feeling and fits the Gold Wing perfectly. I’m not un-happy I bought this hitch I believe it is solid and will provide years of service. I was able to re-install my 70 series rear tire with no problem after final installation. |

| Just finished installing this organizer last night. It only takes about 5 minutes to install. My wife likes it very much now she can store all her things in one convenient place without everything rolling around. The fit was perfect just make sure you don’t pinch the trunk seal when installing (no instructions were included but it’s really not needed, and make sure to use the screws that come with the item due to the fact that your adding approx 3/16” of material and the longer screws help fasten the organizer securely. Great item for the trunk area and when combined with Wingstuff carpet kit really finishes off the trunk area. Good product good fit and good price. |

| I just installed these last night and I have to agree with other reviews that the trunk liner is an Okay fit but the two pannnier liners are spot on. I don't know the quality of the Hondaline products but the quality of this item is outstanding IMHO and for a fraction of the price. Don't be put off about the trunk liner comments, remember most of us carry enough stuff back there to cover them up anyway. Like others said it just finishes everything off. And you can't beat the price. I'm very happy with this item I only gave them 4-stars due to the fit of the trunk liner. |

| I’m giving this product a 4-star rating for a couple of reasons. But first the good. I liked the small design of the product and the final result is great. It’s actually designed to catch the attention of the cager next to you and I think it does a good job of that. The instructions are spot on and it installed exactly as described. I didn’t use the plug & play harness because I have no problem soldering. Plus it saved me $20 bucks. After splicing and soldering the wires I just taped them up with quality electrical tape. Now for a few gripes. No matter how much I cleaned the back of the mirror the double stick tape wouldn’t stick to the back of the mirror it kept coming off. I had to take a piece of sand paper and scuff up the plastic, which solved the problem. The second complaint is the cost. When you take it out of the box you’ll see what I mean. But as I’m quickly learning everything for a wing is overpriced. As a side note if you have Baker hand wings it makes installing a little more time consuming. Expect to put aside at least 30-45 minutes to install these. It states in the description that you need plug adapters @ $9.95 ea. You don’t need these if you solder the connections described in the installation manual. Good Luck. |
