Having received these units, as others have said, very poor finish. Mine look like they were sand blasted and painted to a very rough finish, like sand paper to the touch. I had thought from the video that these things have a Moly oil in the ring? Why do mine sound dry when moving the bike by hand? I have only fitted the rear so far as it cannot be seen. Started the bike on the main stand and let it run in 5th gear up to 80 kph indicated speed. My trunk lid was unlatched and was bouncing up and down. I do run a car tire on the rear but so far am not convinced about these things. I am unlikely to fit the front units due to there ugly appearance and poor finish. Trev. |
| this item was exceptionaly easy to install. It fits like a glove. I woulod recomend this to anyone that has spent hours scrubing bugs off the front fairing. |
| Great, works as advertised and easy install, just used a little liquid soap on he nips, used a small set of regular head pliers and they seemed to work better than needle nosers, my trunk on the 08 was very loose and with the luggage rack on it I was worried the next long trip would result in MORE damage, this is one of those SIMPLE BUT MUST HAVE items that honda should be installing at the factory, where ever the hell it is now!! |
| Oh yah. I'm 6'2" and wished my highway pegs fit my long legs better. This did the trick. I really like the fact that on tight corners, with a lot of lean, the footpegs don't scratch the pavement. That always gave me quite the startle. It would be great if you could buy the highway pegs with the mounting included rather waste money on the long arm type that come with the pegs. Took about 15 minutes to install. |
| Just put this on last night along with the other side, and I got to say, "chrome anything looks great on a black goldwing". Be carefull when you get it lined up to make sure it's on straight. That double stick tape is pretty tenacious stuff. |
| Great product and easy install, I installed them last week and I would sugguest useing a drop of dishwashing liguid on each hole and rubber bumper for easier installation. Niddle nosed pliers and a small jewelers screwdriver or 90 degree pick tool to help get the nub started down threw the drilled holes. Only wish , I had them a few years back when I first got the Wing. Cause the chaffing does get ugly. Ride safe !! |

Another great product from Kuryakyn. I am tall, 6'6" so was not so sure I would like this style with my inseam. However, well designed, easy to install, and after hearing about all the comments regarding the inside of legs hitting the fairing, I elected to go with these. Glad I did. I cannot stretch out as much as I would with short ones, but I also don't look like a bow-legged chicken either....lol. These are infinitely adjustable and give me enough room to vary my position without any fairing issues. Works for me. |

I wondered about the pragmatic side of using this every ride, but it works fine. Install was not hard. Just pay attention when they say to put on several pieces of tape on the top to avoid scratching it from where you must screw in a bolt with a tight fit. They were not kidding. I used just one layer of tape and should have used 2 or 3. Just a micro scratch and no big deal, but it is a great product and great look. |

They have been on my bike for about 500 miles now. Awesome tracking. Stick to the road better and I have more confidence in turning. Now I have to move my pegs up higher. Even if these tires do not last long with the great handling I would buy them again Until you get use to them you may over steer a bit until you learn they turn so easy. I do on the other hand wish I got the 60 size because they are a little bit shorter and wider tire. The Honda dealer told me these are a little like sport tires. Awesome tire that also throws the water away better then any tire I have used. |
| What a great add on. Was a piece of cake to install. Makes that part of the bike really stand out. I've put on various pieces of chrome over the last year and this one gets noticed more than any other. |
| Installation was a breeze and works as intended. Not sure what the fuss is about. Had no trouble mounting with Kury armrests. |
