Nice product. Way over-priced, but a must have if riding with other bikes. Directions are okay, but if you're going to install this yourself, recommend getting other instructions off the web as there are differences in bike models. This requires a lot of disassembly so take your time. Many bolts on the fairing assembly are different size so be careful with what bolts go back where. Will need a few hours to do this. Give 4 stars due to over-price.

Install was scary, only in that I didn't want to drill in the wrong place on the trim. The directions were very good though and I had no issue with installation. I've had these on for 5 years now and have had an issue whatsoever. They really make a difference in deflecting wind off me or putting wind on me. I have to caveat that during winter time, trying to divert hot engine air never really made that much difference at all. It really made a difference during other seasons when I just wanted to stop air flow or "bring it on". |

Make a huge difference for the wind over your hands AND a lot of the wind that hits the passenger. My wife really notices the wind pushing her helmet all over the place when I don't have these deflecting the air. And in the summer, keeping them closed doesnt take away from cooling me as I use the lower baker deflectors to push air directly on me. The one caution I'd raise is that sometimes when turning these, they loosen the mirror screw. I don't move them much at all so it hasn't affected me. |
Simple and sweet. So far, no probs
It is a cover, but it looks good. At first i was worried about it staying on, but it is good to go. Nice touch, a bit pricey.
Wow! Very nice seat back. No bars in the way of the hips for the wife/passenger. The back folds down and forward for easy mounting for passenger. Nice removable storage pouch hangs on the back. Matches seat perfect. Not the easiest thing to install. Two of us (master mechanics) took about 30 mins. You move slow and steady - you are cutting the seat. Once installed, heaven. No more sore shoulders.
Very easy to install. Not sure I like the way the front piece just sits loose on the lower cowl.
I added this when I put on my F4 windshield. The install was fairly easy. I didn't realize I needed a wireing adapter since I have a 2006 wing so I ended up having to hard wire the windshield trim. This piece definately adds PIZAZZZZ to the front of the bike. I'm Happy!
I love this F4 I got for my 2006 1800 Wing. I got the plus 4 and I am glad I did. Install was a snap. I have only driven around Austin but it is holding up great. I give it 4 stars because the vent is poorly engineered. It works but, I'm sure they can come up with something better.
Looks good. Does not plug and play as advertised. Had to hunt down the power and add ground myself. Looks good though with the chrome accents. I like it.
Have to have with the controller panel on left. Easy to install, looks great. Also got the Hondaline gauge to go with it.
Easy add on, looks great. bend to fit before sticking.
