Easy install! I got the dark smoke and they look great on my Titanium Wing. Really cuts down on the wind on my hands. Haven't tried them open to bring more wind onto me in hot weather, but I imagine they will work like the old vent windows on cars and trucks.
It's a miracle! What a difference! Well, what really made the difference was getting rid of the mice nest on top of the old filter (the airbox was completely filled, I kid you not!) but I have plenty of experience with K&N air filters to know they are the best. After you do one or two of these tear-downs on your 'Wing, you'll be able to do it in your sleep. Remember to keep your K&N filter clean and charged. Yes, there's a lot of stuff to remove and move aside to install one of these puppies, but look at all the fun you'll have doing it! Learning about your ride is a good thing, and when you have the shelter off, it's a good time to pull wire, install headlight modulators, etc., etc. So really, Honda was doing you a favor by making this replacement more like taking apart and reassembling a puzzle! Your 'Wing will thank you for the effort.
Gee wilikers, that's a lot of wires! I ordered these months ago and finally had my shelter off, so I thought I'd install this. 5 stars for the results, 4 stars for the methodology. There has got to be a more elegant way to get the flashers working other than running wire to the front signals, but like I said, with shelter off, it was a breeze. The instructions are 80 percent good, but they left some steps off. By the time you get 80 percent through, you can figure out the rest of it anyway. My only concern is that now with all the added connections under the fender panel that wont fit into a rubber boot, will there be problems when the whole shootin'match gets wet? If you like puzzles and you're willing to pull some wire and you want a lovelier backside, install this mod. I'm happy.
Ditto what the chaps below already said. It's the little things that add polish. Easy install for me and it took about 20 minutes. Just pay attention to the spring orientation and you'll be fine.
Easy mod, great results. I'd do it all over again. Should be a factory item, but hey, then how would we spend our money?
The front ones were a bit tricky to install but eventually got them in. No more of that slamming trunk lid when I hit a bump! Sure don't miss that noise. I can see where one could break them off when installing but well worth the money.
Looks great! Makes a world of difference. Chrome on black bike - doesn't get much better.
Sorry the stars deffault at 5 - this is a mistake - anyways, here is the rating for this filter - 4 at best....becaue I had fitting problems with this filter and I followed the sealing ring removal instruction prior to trying to install...
K&N Does have some quality control issues on sizing of a lot of their filter products. I have used many of them over the years and it is hit and miss... Sometimes the fit is great and other times you have to use the exacto knife to pare off pieces here and there. I often wonder about the filtering effects as well - whether they are really as good as they say... the improvement is noticiable at first while the filter is new. Have not changed out oe cleaned this filter yet on my wing - will report when I do..

The product works flawlessly to provide true "shuffling" of music for your digital music player. You can also drag and drop songs in a particular order, if you desire. Great product!!!!!!! |
I put these tires on my 06 about 2K miles ago. I was amazed as I drove it off the dealershop lot. It cornered very easily. Felt like a sport bike! I recently spoke to a friend who just put them on his Wing and was totally amazed as I was. Also made the comment about feeling like a sport bike....try it you'll like it!
Ok I've had the wheel balancers on now for a couple of months. the higher the speed the smoother the ride. I too can hear the bearings however it is only when I am backing or moving forward very slowly. No problem with that. I have had no problem with paint. My roter covers conceal the balancers. It is a product worth spending the money on. Headed on a 3 day ride this weekend...really looking forward to it now!
