Installation was smooth and simple for the most part. Once the cap nuts were loose enough the pan slipped right on. Toughest part was getting one of the drain hoses to fit the hole in the pan, but a couple choice expletives did the trick. No rattles and now have piece of mind as far as debris kick-up etc is concerned. I still wouldn't recommend any curb jumping though.

Just got this in today, the quality of this bag is very good. Im very satified with my purchase.
I did not install this product so I cannot attest to how complicated it was but my guy only charged me one hour's labor, and told me it was a little tricky but said it was one of the better hitches he has put on because of all the "locking points"? I guess that means all the places it attaches to the bike? Anyway, it is completely hidden when the ball is not attached and very accessible to put on the hitch when you are ready to go... I'm talking seconds here. I am very happy I bought it and did not squander the extra cash for a more expensive hitch.
I bought the power plug for the fairing and it works perfectly. Why some would choose to spend twice as much on the Hondaline power plug is beyond me. I only use it to charge my cell phone or to use my Airman tire compressor, and it works perfect for both so I'm happy. 5 stars!

The ride is like silk. Of course, my ride was like silk prior to my purchase and installation of these balancers so I must admit that I did not think these were worth the expense at first. After riding around for a few weeks I have noticed an improvement. My bike was smooth before but now at points it feels as though I am riding on air; like driving an Escalade. I think the balancers may have helped round out the tires a little. I look forward to seeing how much longer my tires will last because these definitely seem to be doing something. Also... you can hear the swishing of the beads at low speeds but it is not loud enough to be annoying or even noticeable unless you are listening for them. With the radio on I hear nothing. Plus you don't have to worry about them getting caught in your valve stem like Dyna Beads. Overall a good product but may not be a necessity or a “must-have”. |
I read all the reviews and thought what a great item, Well I picked up a nail in the rear tire and I needed to use the kit. I could not get the plug to go into the nozzle it kept moving to the side of the plunger. I was not a happy camper. I was lucky another rider had the old fashioned type repair kit and it saved my butt. Maybe mine was defective, but on the road with a flat is not the time to find out.
Have to agree with everyone else, this product takes care of that missing bling that was needed on the side. Very easy to install and makes a big differenc in the apperance of the bike.

Got this today and boy this thing is packed with all the details and data you will ever need. It came with and extra booklet for the 2010 model update. Well worth the money |
Kudos to Wing Stuff (Cycle Giant) I ordered these tires on Thursday 22 April at my door step Monday 26 April! Great shipping and customer service all at Free Shipping and low prices for their products! Love this company! Keep up the good work! Oh yeah I'll let you know about the tire later, but this is my third Avon tire so I'm sure it will be good!
Love the rotor covers, but what i liked the most is the service i get from Wing stuff. order my covers on a Tuesday and asked them to see if i could get them by the weekend , and there they were on Friday !!! i thanks them for that, installation was very easy , just love to go riding in style !!!
CHROME VERY GOOD, OVERALL CONSTRUCTION GOOD, I PURCHASED THE STANDOFFS THINKING THEY WERE NEEDED. (THEY ARE ONLY NEEDED WHEN YOU HAVE OR WILL ADD A SPOILER LATER.) BUT I USED THEM ANYWAY IN MY OPINION THEY MAKE FOR A BETTER LOOKING MOUNT. EASIER TO CLEAN UNDER. THE DIRECTIONS DONT TELL YOU HOW FAR FORWARD YOU SHOULD MOUNT IT CARE SHOULD BE TAKEN IF YOU PLAN ON ADDING A SPOILER LATER.IF YOU GET IT TO FAR BACK THE LEGS MAY INTERFERE WITH SPOILER MOUNT. SPEAKING OF INSTRUCTIONS IF INSTALLING BOTH RACK AND STANDOFFS YOU HAVE TO BLEND BOTH SETS OF INSTRUCTIONS AND USE COMMON SENSE. ONE NEGATIVE IS THE BOLT HOLES WERE NOT DEEP ENOUGH FOR BOLTS PROVIDED. OVERALL I LOVE IT.
