It does what it's supposed to do. A bit hard to plug in on the bike connection, so we leave it plugged in there and unplug at the helmet.
Installed a set in my Shoei and one in my wife's HJC. Great sound quality, and fairly easy install. We really like being able to communicate easily. It's a great safety feature too, because two pair of eyes are better than one when the deer are roaming about on the back-roads.

Very nice part, very easy install, it took maybe 25 minutes, I installed it while I had my morning coffee before going to work. You can't get much easier than that. Wingrider |
Follow-up to the last review, the tire is on the rim, balanced and MAN WHAT a great ride this is. The cornering improved amazing well and the ride is smooth as silk. I'm sold, I will be buying another set of Avon Cobras in the future for my Wing. DAMN! What a good deal too! $159.00 for a back tire, can't beat that anywhere! Thanks Wing Stuff!
Installed into tires about 1000 miles ago, I was not sure about these when I got them, but I will have to say that I have noticed a differance in the ride, every bump feels smoother so my buddy bought them and he agrees with me on this. It's a weird feeling of smoothness, so I do feel that the beads are worth the money. My only complaint is that the tube they send you is a little short and the beads did not want to go in the valve stems. The cure is load beads in tube and hit with air and they will go right in the stem, using a vibration tool as the instructions suggested was worthless, did not work. Use air and you will be done in about 2 minutes per wheel. I will review again after my trip next month, will be doing around 4500 mile ride so we will see if they help with cupping or not as I have heard... Another review to follow
Just got these and they really are nice, fit was good and now I don't feel like things are banging around and getting damaged as much, good product
A great accessory for the front wheel. I like the style which is much more enhance the stock. Great lighting for night riding. Another great piece from Kuryakyn
An item i feel should come with reflector or stealth light a little pricey also.
I take a 14 hour trip once a month. Well worth the money! As stated it keeps your bottom from getting hot and sweaty, but in addition it also keeps your bottom dry not having to sit in a rain soaked saddle! I also have a second one attached to my backrest to keep my back from getting all sweaty.EXCELLENT PRODUCT!!
OK I had to bite the bullet and buy the purple wings. Too bad WingStuff did not sell them though. I .had to buy them direct from Baker. When I tried to install the new wing stops that came with the hand wings they would not fit. You see I had installed a chrome frame on my mirror I had purchased from WingStuff. Baker needs to go back to the drawing board and do some tweaking of the stops. The wings however went on easy and look great. Hope I don't need the stops.
Had to toss in a response to BBStacker as one has to keep in mind that I NEVER stated the product didn't work, only the fact that one has to balance product with options to cost. If we could rate the product on quality vs cost then the numbers would stack up differently. We don't have this option so my rating is applied based on the over all. Claims about tires lasting longer makes total sense as the tires are being balance with every start of rotation. The product works by applying centrifugal force through a series of weights (beads) applied. The rotation and "out of balance" condition causes the beads to find there place until a balance is obtained. The process is simple the price is not.
I added it for the safety factor, the good looks was a bonus. I replaced the OEM spoiler light. It now functions as a running light, flasher & signal light.
