| I YouTubed the installation and cross referenced with the instructions. It was an easy install. Do yourself a favor and use a JIS screwdriver to better fit the fasteners. The installation looks great and complements the bike, plus it gives you a place to place your hand to open and support to close the lid (and less on the paint). My 4 piece fly rod lays across the rack and held securely with bungie net...for a 600 mile road trip / fly fishing. I might look into the luggage filament that fits since the overall storage on this 2023 is much less than the 2010 I traded. |
| I've only been under my own bike (2023 DCT tour) but it seems to me the arms that connect to the engine guard could be a better fit without having to bend, push & flex to complete the connection to the pan. Just sayin' - the "pattern-bend" is off and with some experience in fabrications, I would tweak it at manufacturing before sending it out. It's easy enough to complete the installation and looks like it will perform as intended. |

| This is a good product. the workmanship is good. The bag is functional and fits my 2022 Honda GW well. It keeps my gloves and other items from falling out everytime I open the cover. It is a reasonably priced solution to a design flaw (side opening bags). I would definately purchase again. |
| It is good once assembled. I just did 3 250 mile days in a row and the backrest is a must have. The padding is well done, the finish is fitting for a wing, once assembled, it is just right and I have zero complaints about that. The issue I do have is that for the price you are doing all the final assembly (well beyond mounting it to your bike) and that aspect of design needs a review at the factory. Numerous screws and nuts and tapped bits needed to be re-tapped, including the holes screws go into in the seat-back, which are blind because they are covered in seat foam. In short, Show Chrome has put themselves at the bottom of my list for parts, until I find worse, as it's not a fair price for a product this unfinished. Lastly, why is "smart" in the product description? You need to carry tools to make adjustments to this. |
