I put this trim on my 2009 goldwing and all my friends think it is great and looks so good. for the price it is well worth it.
I put these on my 2009 goldwing and what a difference it made i love them DON
super grip tires and have held up so far for 2000km . I find them much quieter than the elite3's which cupped within 4000km front and 8000km rear . if you like to corner the 1800 then you will love these tires ......smooth riding , quiet even in the corners ...
Junk! Does not stay tight. DO NOT PURCHASE. Very dissapointed.
Amazing difference. I live in a hot climate and the additional breeze is wonderful. Follow the instructions exactly and it wil be great. Use and Xacto knife or box cutter to cut out the tab on the template.
In my humble opinion. These are the best tires for the Goldwing. Unbelievable handling difference from the Dunlops. The Dunlops will get you more mileage but they cup. The centerline hard rubber on the Bridgestones seems to prevent this and gives you a greater performance ride. I have 10k and never had a problem.
Liked this product so much that I just purchased my second set. Have had this exact item on my '02 Wing for two years but had a boo-boo on my most recent 2 week long road trip through beautiful Colorado, which end with the left peg being damaged to the point of needing replaced. Considered going with the "wing" version now available but decided that since this style provided 100% satisfaction for so long, why consider anything else. Will agree with those who have stated the instructios are lacking in clarity but as product quality goes, you cannot go wrong!!
Probaby the best thing I could have done to my 08 Wing, suspension now works like it should added this and Race-Tech springs, worthe every penny!!!
After starting out on a 2038 mile trip I almost lost the Christian flag. The stitching is too wide for the flag pole and it started to come off the pole at 70 miles an hour. We stitched it smaller and no further problems.

4 Stars for tread life 3 Stars for tire quality The tires that came with my 2006 GW when I bought it new really sucked, and I hung on to them as long as I could. But I replaced them after only 9k miles when the front tire became so cupped it felt unsafe when leaning on curves. I replaced both of them with the Bridgestones and was quite pleased until this past weekend while on a long ride I developed a wobble. It turned out to be a bulge on the side of the rear tire. I only had about 9k miles and the tread on both the front and rear stilled looked good. I replaced the rear with another Bridgstone because I didn’t want to replace both the front and rear with another brand. The Bridgestones really do give a very smooth ride and I am hoping that this tire will last a little longer than the last one. |
Still hanging in there with the 60's on my 06 wing. Had a problem with the 70 on the back. The 70 did real good up to about 2500 miles then started to wobble, and I don't know why. Wingstuff took care of me though we had to wait for the adjustment on the tire about 2 months (adjusters very slow). I do like the way they take care of postage when you do have a warranty issue and have to send the tire back. Wingstuff came through again for me. I do believe the gold wing front end gives problems to tires holding up though. Seems like Honda could do alot better on the front ends, maybe we are expecting too much out of a motorcycle company with all the gadgets and do-dads we want on our rides.
After holding on to these for several months I finally decided to install them. The instructions were very good and the templates were right on. I hate drilling on my bike but drilled an 1/8" pilot hole prior to drilling the 1/4" hole and things worked well. It took a bit more pull than I expected to seat the bumpers but I was working in 63 degree weather so I imagine that they were pretty stiff. I went for a ride after installation and the rattle when crossing tracks etc. is gone. I do have a concern for how hard the trunk lid closes now. Hopefully the bumpers will take a set when compressed for a long period.
