very little difference from the stock oem cable works well . especially if your passenger has a habit of forgetting to unplug once in a while they are not very forgiving when pulled on . just installed one for the passenger just remove the seat and the plug sits just behind the ecm it has a rubber booty on it remove put on a li'l connection protector and reinstall took about 1/2 to do mine .

One year ago and 13,442 miles I bought this tire I bought the sport one not the wide one but I have been happy with its performance. The threads are starting to show and very little cupping but I did watch the air pressure a lot. Also I have the cobra on the front also. I believe that makes a difference I also have the beads in the front tire but not the back. I will put them in the back this time. They made all the deference in the performance of the front end no wobble at all. I love the tire this is my 8th bike so you can imagine how many tires there has been. P.S. install the ceramic beads when you install the tire I could not install them after tire was on. This seams to be the safes tire I have ever used no slip even now. Take care keep the rubber on the bottom. |
I just finished a 10 day 4800 mile trip. I gave this bag to my wife as she was meeting me in Jackson Hole, Wy for 5 days. She packet what she needed in it. At the hotels I would just leave attached to the platform and slide on and off as needed. It was the quickest part of loading and unloading every night. I went through some heavy down pours and everything was dry. great product and I'm glad I bought it!
Excellent Item. Just returned from a 1300 mile trip with my g/friend. This extra space gave us just what we needed. Found it was most conveniently used by leaving the bag attached to the rack and taking the entire rack into the motel room. It was a little sticky at first sliding the rack rods in and out. Lubed up with some wd40 and they now slide in and out well. Does not block the license plate either.
Recently had the guys at Wing Stuff install this rest. Left a couple of days later on a 7 day 1300 mile trip. Can even begin to explain how much more comfortable the ride was and how much the fatique factor is reduced. Fits neat and does not interfere with your passenger's leg room. Highly recommend.
I just used this cover for the first time on my trip to Wings over the Smokies. It fits the bike like a glove and packs very compact. I couldn't be happier with it! I'm glad I didn't spend the money on a more expensive cover.
Two Thumbs Up!
Very nice looking piece of bling. The two-sided tape is a little tricky, but pretty easy and quick install.
This is an add on note to my other post about this item. I might suggest you try just installing the bumpers just on the front of the trunk (tail light end). I installed all 4 and the two in the back came out and I haven't replaced them yet as I did order a second set just in case. My trunk closes allot easier and doesn't rattle at all with just the two. Ride On...
This really makes the dash stand out. Like the difference between a Rolls Royce and a VW. I am so glad I finally put it on with the chrome buttons. When you put the buttom covers on make sure you take the metal holders out of your old button covers and put them in the chrome covers before you try and install them.
I put my gloves in the net. I have 3 pairs in the trunk and now I can find them! Great piece of equipment.
This is a great deal for the money. The magnetic bolt for the oil is a must! No more looking for the right wrench to pull the oil plug.
