| I installed this the week after purchasing the wing. I love it, the bike didn't feel as comfortable as I had hoped until I put this backrest on. It made all the difference in the world. It was a piece of cake to install and has held up great for the past 8,000 miles since the install. |
| I installed these on the day I purchased my Goldwing...They add tremendous comfort to the passengers as well as giving them an additional sense of security. They look great as well. My only complaint is that they need to be swung out of the way to open and close the trunk. Sometimes forget to close them and start to ride away with them in the out position. |

I'm biker Manny. I'm writing this review not on behalf of the product (GL1800 Chrome Fairing Molding)I recently purchased from WINGSTUFF.com but the customer service I received from them. I received a call from their customer service department immediately as soon as I posted my review of this product. They were responsive, curtious and willing to resolve my complaint immediately. Rick from WINGSTUFF had call the manufacturer,which in this case was SHOWCHROME, to discuss the issue of my complaint. Rick put me in contact with Wally from SHOWCHROME. After discussing the issue with Wally from SHOWCHROME, they were willing to provide me with another set at no charge immediately. This is customer service from both the distributor and the manufacturer. I look for these qualities when I purchase over the internet. However, based on my design knowledge and years of experience, I declined the offer. I believe this product does have design issues with the tabs that can be improved. The current design can induce failure (tabs snapping off) resulting in a nonfunctional item. I provided constructive feedback to SHOWCHROME with the hoped they can address the issue. I certainly will purchased this product if they fix the issue in the near future for mu GOLDWING 1800. I will certainly continue buying products for my Goldwing from WINGSTUFF.com. They are a respectable company that stands behind the products and with an excellent customer service department. Thank You Rick; BIKER MANNY |
| I had these hand wings on my 1500 they work great and they were the first thing I added to my 1800 very easy to install a must for all season riding |
| I installed it without the extentions and it is easy to clean the trunk lid. It looks good and is still functional. The tag says limit is 5 pounds but I push 10 pounds on it and have no problem. I simply love it. |
| This is an update to my earlier review. The front two bumpers are now leaned towards the back of the bike and there is no doubt that they will eventually break off. I like the idea of leaving just the rear bumpers. They are the ones closest to the tail lights and I think that they may do the job without the forward bumpers. We'll see how it goes. Regardless of all of that, I still like the isolation that they provide for the trunk lid and I sure don't miss the rattle. |
| These make the bike look great Mother Honda should have made the exhaust like this instead of the nasty looking piece that came on it. |

| I been using this product for years.Its the Best cleaner that I have found any where. I detail my 1500 from the pipes to the windshield.I have to hide it cause I always have a extra can and my wife takes it and use it on her stuff! |

Reading the reviews for this product and the rating it had, I decided to buy it with looking forward to adding this accessory to my Wing 2005. I'm an engineer by trade and I know about designs and manufacturing. I can tell you this, as I tried to install it, one of the center tabs just broke off. I was so pissed off!!!! After carefully analysing it, I noticed that the design of the tabs does not provide a stress relief to allow some flexing of the tabs as you insert them into the slots. Not having this feature,like a passive hinge,makes this part very prone to failure. You will run the risk of breaking off the small plastic tabs very easily. They seemed very brittle to me as well. Furthermore, this Part is NOT user friendly when removing from its packaging. I just spend $54.00 in junk. Therefore, for all you bikers interesed in this part, I encourage you NOT to invest in purchasing this item. I wish I could get my money back!!!!! |
| Mine came with four long screws that wont fit the hole. Maybe they had a mistake. Looks good but gave me the hassle to look for the screws so the minus 1 star. But funtions very well. Will still recommend highly. I hope the people packaging this will pay more attention to the screws before they ship to the customer. |
| I too have had problem's with these cables...fix a problem on drivers helmet now needing to replace same cable on passenger connection. Which I could find another supplier that provides a better quality product.If you buy the J&M headset series pick up a few of these cause you will need them after about 6mo to a year of use. |
