| Definitely a finishing touch. Solid die cast zinc with a quality chrome finish just like what your Dad got on his new 58 Buick before the age of plastic. I would definitely buy again. |

The first day I had my 08 Wing I went on a trip of about 750 klics and hit a rain storm in the Rockies just east of Jasper Alberta. After the first semi passed me and coated the stock shield with crud I got to spent the next 200 K either leaning to the side or standing all the while thinking about the old standard of looking over the shield which I knew about but didn't think I would encounter so soon. (I always ask the guys with those skyscraper windshields how it works in the rain and I always get told about the latest "preparation" for making rain go away. I think maybe they stretch the truth just a little as these things never seem to work all that well. Funny too how their bikes are always so shiny like they have never seen the rain....) The next day, masking tape and jigsaw in hand, 3 1/2" came off the top of the stock shield. There was more buffeting and wind noise but I could now see were I was going in the rain. I think seeing is a good thing don't you? Now I have the Windbender. With the reverse kick at the top and the laminar flow the buffeting is virtually gone and I can literally see for miles with far less wind noise. Installation was easy and done in about 1/2 an hour. Materials are all top quality as is the workmanship. I will be ordering the electric option as I am a lazy SOB and don't want to stop to adjust things. I would buy it again in a minute! |
| This product was so simple to install. Not sure why some others said it was hard. Installed it by myself in about a half hour. IT REALLY LOOKS GREAT. |

This product is overpriced (reason for 3 stars) but given the alternative, I gave in and purchased one due to the member reviews. First, the instructions that came with the product are useless. The install was easy, appr, 10 minutes as I had the front cowl removed for an oil change anyways. After the install, I took my girl out for a test run. She did fine, AT FIRST...When I turned it up to Interstate speed, I heard a clank..clank..clank.. Not what one wants to hear going 85mph.. Limped it back to the garage to learn the instructions did not say to slide the belly pan forward before tightening.. SO, when installing, remember to slide the belly pan forward or there will be too much gap and the front pan will fall from the front cowl at highway speeds. |
| I just received these and found that one of the mounts was deformed and wouldn't go in properly. Not wanting to send the part back, I just took it to my shop and ground it down. Probably will void my warranty but it was in an area not visiable. The pegs look good and I know I will enjoy them, but lack of quality will cause me to think hard about purchasing Kuryakyn parts. |
| These area great. Will be getting the lower ones over the winter |
| Great addition to the bike. Man do these catch the bugs :) |
| Just had this installed and it works & looks great. Can't go wrong here. |

Looks Great but after 2weeks the rubber inserts fell of on the road. Thats a bummer.... |
| A must have if you are going to chrome the rest of the bike and if you are going to add the foot pegs. They are very nice. |
| Put these on to compliment the rest of the chrome additions to the bike. They look great with the chrome brake pedal and mounts. Easy install about 10 minutes a side; most of that was trying to straighten out the cotter pin. |
| They look terrific and are one of the better made chromed pieces from Kuryakyn. Although they are plastic, they are nice and heavy. They finish off the lower half of the bike nicely. |
