This product is overpriced (reason for 3 stars) but given the alternative, I gave in and purchased one due to the member reviews. First, the instructions that came with the product are useless. The install was easy, appr, 10 minutes as I had the front cowl removed for an oil change anyways. After the install, I took my girl out for a test run. She did fine, AT FIRST...When I turned it up to Interstate speed, I heard a clank..clank..clank.. Not what one wants to hear going 85mph.. Limped it back to the garage to learn the instructions did not say to slide the belly pan forward before tightening.. SO, when installing, remember to slide the belly pan forward or there will be too much gap and the front pan will fall from the front cowl at highway speeds. |
| I just received these and found that one of the mounts was deformed and wouldn't go in properly. Not wanting to send the part back, I just took it to my shop and ground it down. Probably will void my warranty but it was in an area not visiable. The pegs look good and I know I will enjoy them, but lack of quality will cause me to think hard about purchasing Kuryakyn parts. |
| These area great. Will be getting the lower ones over the winter |
| Great addition to the bike. Man do these catch the bugs :) |
| Just had this installed and it works & looks great. Can't go wrong here. |

Looks Great but after 2weeks the rubber inserts fell of on the road. Thats a bummer.... |
| A must have if you are going to chrome the rest of the bike and if you are going to add the foot pegs. They are very nice. |
| Put these on to compliment the rest of the chrome additions to the bike. They look great with the chrome brake pedal and mounts. Easy install about 10 minutes a side; most of that was trying to straighten out the cotter pin. |
| They look terrific and are one of the better made chromed pieces from Kuryakyn. Although they are plastic, they are nice and heavy. They finish off the lower half of the bike nicely. |
| These are excellent Pegs. I installed them myself and had no problem. I am a big rider 6'4" and over 300 lbs. I have the long pegs and could use a little more forward positioning, but very solid and stable.. I would recommend them. |

The GL1500 seats are actually one inch lower than the stock seat for the driver and the passenger seat section is the same seat height as the stock seat so it gives the passenger a little better front view. Des Ultimate Seats |
| This is a follow up on the higher profile 70 rear tyre. I've had the chance to do some high speed work hard cornering at 70 to 90 mph and straight line to 115 mph. Excellent grip as with the 60 but better clearance. Only grounded my footpegs but there were a few corners where I most definitely would have scraped the under fairing or mufflers as I have done before on these rides with the 60 profile tyre. The penalty is a "squidgy" feel. Slightly more weave both cornering and at high speed but very predictable and all well within control. For the huge benefit in cornering clearance, I'll be sticking with the 70 series. |
