This is one of the best looking racks on the market. The reason I have given it a low rating ( if I could give a 0 rating I would) is because of Kuryakyn not standing behind their products. Customer service at Kuryakyn sucks. I keep my bike very clean and polished but after 13 or 14 months the chrome started to bubble on the rack and Kuryakyn would not do anything as it was over the one year warranty. Now also keep in mind in the midwest we only ride 8 to 9 months of the year. If the company will not stand behind their product, than I will not use Kuryakyn products. I also know of others that have had the same problem with Kuryakyn chrome. Read the message boards on GWRRA and goldwingdocks.com to see reviews from others including myself. WingStuff gets a 5 star rating as they backed Kuryakyn better than Kuryakyn did. |
| Perfect!!!!!!! I have a 36" inseam and I made the mistake of ordering the ergoII kit with the 6" arms. I Could never safely get them adjusted to where they fit me. I Put these on and now I can cruise comfortably and safely. I dont even have the problem with them draggin like the 6" arms did. If you have over a 30" inseam don't bother with the other arms just order these arms with in the Ergo II kit and you wont be sorry. |
| Outstanding product with all steel shafts. |
| PUT THESE ON FRONT AND REAR MADE A BIG DIFFERENTS |
| Outstanding product. I've installed this in 2005 after my damper reached 25. Having the extra load factor has really paid off. 5 years later, I'm at 2 one up, 4 two up and 6 two up and a trailer. Installation must be done by those with knowledge & tools to do the job. Regardless of what you hear, the gas tank must come out. |
| Probably the best product with overall quality and cost to owner. |
| just okay, makes it a little harder to press the buttons, and they don't show you that the back of it has the manufacturers web site embossed on it in white letters. Nothing a black sharpie won't fix :-) |
| Great product, I should have installed these much earlier! The install was absolutely easy as it gets. Technical level needed maybe a 2 out of 10. The package arrived labeled GL 1500, but the paperwork said GL 1800, and it works great! |
| Great product, I should have installed these much earlier! The install was absolutely easy as it gets. Read the instructions first, cut out the templtes for the holes you have to drill precisely and you will do a bang up job! Technical level needed maybe a 3 out of 10. |

Just an update to the review I previously posted: I give WingStuff 5 stars for Rodney contacting me on a Saturday afternoon to let me know that they have investigated the situation and had indeed found that the picture on the product page (That did not show the additional bracket arm) had not been updated when Baker changed the mounting system to now include this arm. He assured me that they will rectify this immediately and took the time to explain what steps were being taken and offered to do whatever it took to help me with this situation. Now that is what I call customer service! WingStuff and Rodney get an A+ in my book – class act guys! |
| The kit is now correct for the later bikes, it has everything you need to service your forks!!!! |

These units installed flawlessly and as described.... no issues .... Literally a 3-5 minute installation. See my photo gallery for pics of these installed (clear plastic type) on my 08'. If you read my review about the "NEW Generation Baker Built GL1800 Dual Adjustable Air Wings w/Lowers", you know I am not pleased about that product, however, I do find the "hand-wings" package truthful and accurate. |
