These are really nice, bought these last year and really make riding more comfortable on long rides. Also like the ground clearance the retain the way they designed the mount.
The benfits of the ride off stand far exceeds any add-on item you may be considering. Buy it first before chrome and other accessories. The GW was so easy to manually lift onto the center stand that the first time I slid the bike backwards about 6 inches using the same effort with the factory stand. I only use reverse with a rider and a trailer. Furthermore, you will appreciate mounting the bike, starting the engine, and riding off in 1st gear. WOW! Honda should make the ride-off-stand standard equipment.
I have not installed the belly pan yet but it looks like it will protect the underside of the motor and other items. And, yes the edges are sharp so I will wear gloves.
Installed the Kuryakyn on my ABS model. Afterwards I learned that ABS models have a different design. The Kuryakyn data specs only said they would not fit an air bag model. In my opinion the data specs should have mentioned the ABS alternative. It appears the Kuryakyn is a universal fit. Four stars for the lack of complete information.

These tires are fantastic!! A huge improvement over stock. The bike rides smother, tracks way better, and handles like a dream I come from a sportbike background so handling is key to me. These tires lean in with ease stick like glue and ride way smoother than stock. No noise from the tire and wear seems great so far. I only have 3,000 miles on them but I see no discernable signs of wear yet. Buy these tires you will like them. As for the guy with the loaded trailer that had a blowout I have a sneaking suspicion that the bike may have been overloaded in which case this could have happened to any tire. These tires are incredible and anyone that cannot notice the difference between these and stock must not know how to ride very well. Buy AND enjoy! |
Just more over priced bling. But I like Bling. FYI The wiring connections are a bit confusing. The instructions say to connect to the blue and green wires (not to be found on my 08 wing). But a Volt meter and a little testing and I found a hot connection. The connections goto the bottom RED running/brake light not the backup clear light. Use the center blue(ish) wire and the outer left wire. I don't remember the color.
Nice wrench, but it only fits Stock Honda filters. Won't fit Fram PH6017A / TG6607 or HiFlotro HF 204 brands
I added these GL1800 Kuryakyn Floorboards to my Goldwing after Christmas. They look good and are very comfortable with the floor toe/heel shifter. A must if you are riding on long trips. I love the added comfort Kuryakyn Accessories lend to my bike and they look great. I get lots of positive comments from other riders.
I added the Kuryakyn GL1800 Chrome Rotor Covers to make the front of the bike look more finished. This item covers the exposed rotors and disc pads. Adds a smoother touch to the front of my Goldwing.
This was the first item to be installed on my Goldwing...Easy to install and very comfortable when riding for several hours each day. I have ordered the same grips for my friends who have ridden my bike and like the feel.
I added the Kuryakyn GL1800 Chrome Valve Covers to my Goldwing... An easy add on and looks great.

I like the look of Chrome on my Goldwing, I added the Kuryakyn Chrome Shark Gill. Easy to install and looks great... |
