Followup: I've had this windshield for about a month and this is what I have experienced. The F4 is easy to clean and stays clean through my rides longer then the stock windshield. This windshield is so clear that at times it seems like it's not there. I can see everything in front of me with no problem. There is some glare and reflection when the sun is to your back, but not to bad. I caught a few down pours while riding home and as long as you are moving over 40 mph or 25 mph with some wind, the water beads off. However, in slow traffic, the water beads well but does not roll off, which I expected. All I need now is wipers for the slow travel. All in all, this is a great buy and well worth the money. |
I don't like them they raise the trunk to high now I have a gap that weather can get in behind rear speakers
its nice but please show how the cap holder mounts
great product i just got it yesterday an installed it after work install very easy you will learn to apprecieat the extera two inches honda product ahh lines right up cant wait to try it out still cold in chicago keep your honda all honda and we will all be happy lol.....
Got it mounted without problems. I can't imagine what the big one would look like - the small one is huge enough setting there on the handle bar.
Thought it was a good idea to have a supply on hand. Easy to throw in the bottom of the trunk... inexpensive, and out of sight... yet available if needed - either by me or someone in the group - if needed.
Seem to work OK. Fit nicely and seem to be a nice addition for the money.
Did not like them at all! Followed instruction exactly and seemed to work in the beginning however, the longer they were on the worse shutting the trunk got. Finally got to the point where I couldn't shut the trunk at all.

Got the trunk one. I was concerned about it simply pushing into the hole that was drilled and not having a "nut like" attachment on the reverse side. Not to worry though, if you drill the 1 1/8 hole the plug will fit snugly into the hole. It took me longer to get all the 19 screws off and the inner trunk lid undone that to drill and attach the plug! |
Got this as part of the $1000 accessory package... there are others out there for less money though; but I have to say that this was pretty easy to install in my left fairing pocket. A hole needs to be drilled - on the angled part of the pocket in the right corner. Not a big deal. Look down inside the wrapped cables though for the plug-in connector. I had to cut mine to get at it.
These were a little tedious to install since you have to change out the ball and spring from the original. The left side does not lock in the up position as it hits the trim piece so it will stay for a bit but eventually falls to the down position. The right side fits perfectly. Kuryakyn should look at these reviews and make some adjustments in a pricey accessory. Otherwise they look great. My wife has not used them yet however we are going on a long trip next month and they will get a lot of use then.
A simple installation and wired with the turn signal, they look amazing!
