Very bright, easily readable under sunlight viewing conditions (which is more than I can say for Honda's instrumentation clusters!! very poor sunlight viewability!). Put in 'handle bar well' on right side, out of way & viewable at night or day. Connect/ tap into to any +/ - power wires most readily avialable, be they aux, turn signals, other.
Easy install & a very nice touch of show bike Chrome! The covers have remained intact for ~ 2 mo of driving in hot weather- the tape, which I was skeptical at first, has done a first rate job of adhering to the bike, no indication of letting go soon. Like many PSAs (pressure sensitive tapes), adhesion gets better w/ time & temp.....hope this holds true. Be sure to thoroughly clean the surfaces w/ IPA (isop alcohol) or, MEK or other non-petroleum based solvent for excellent adhesion.
Awesome and much needed add-on. My wife loves them and installation was a breeze.
Great product. It really delivers light in the rear of the bike that stands out day or night. Instructions were good/adequate the wire length was more than required for installation.
Excellent travel cover. Perfect fit and has proven to be quite water resistant.
Just installed yesterday. It took about 4 hours. I only had a problem with one of the bolts on the H bracket but used a little pry bar and everything went fine. Looks great and a great price. Will hopefully use in the next week or so and will update everyone. The instructions that I downloaded was a great help.
Only three stars because, one, the wife hasn't tested them yet and, two, the expansion bushings didn't provide a solid enough mount for my liking. Half inch holes were already drilled and arm rests mounted so I inserted bushings, cut them flush on inside of speaker housing and trunk lid, added a small 2 in. square plate with a 1/4" hole in middle to inside of speaker and 1 1/4' finder washers to bake of trunk. Secured mounts with ss lock nuts. Very little side-to-side flex of speaker housing. No movement of mount up and down.
fist set of rears quit...one of front.replaced with j&m again.quit again.

Just installed on my '03. Thanks for all the advice guys, it helped make the decision! First thing I noticed was my back comfortably up against the back rest. I'm about 5' 10" and went with the standard width. Felt good on the first (short) ride, we'll give them a good test soon! |
Wow! I felt a difference immediately! Once I had a few miles on them and then hit the curves I was hooked, I am now an AVON customer for life!!!
Bought this hitch in May for our upcoming Memorial Day weekend ride. It took about three weeks to arive, which mean't it arrive 48 hrs prior to departure. Lots-o-pressure! Got to work on it immediately in our 101 degree spring temps and within about two hours I had it installed and taking a test run with my new trailer! Easy install, looks good and works great!

Much needed information if you plan on doing repairs to your own bike. This is more information then the average person would use but at least when you ask your tech buddy a question he will have a book to look at....LOL |
