Great addition. WATCH OUT for the sharp edges. No stitches here, but close. Installs in 5 minutes. Was under my Wing the other day, and noticed a lot of road tar, and scratches, obviously saved my undercarraige from some rocks and damage. I have noticed the fan kicking on a lot more during in town riding, stop and go driving, and that sort of thing. It obviously knocks some of the air off the bottom. Went on a road trip recently, cant say it made it any smoother on the interstate when the big trucks go by, but I cant say it didnt either. Overall, good purchase. Glad I have it. |
Tips look really good. they were easy to install on my '02 ecxept for the fact that all 6 bolts broke off and i had to drill out and tap all of the holes. on a newer Wing it would be a 15 min install im sure. will follow up with a review after i have rode through the winter and we will see how the chrome looks.
Would be careful of this product. It's an alloy that isn't as strong as the OEM. Don't put on with recommended torque or you'll never get it off and the metal just shears off! Also, they compromised on the bolt size (13mm v. 17mm), making it even more difficult to get ahold of it to remove. Believe me, I found out the hard way!
Install Belly Pan on 2003 GL1800 Moto-Trike. Fit like a glove, took about 1 hour. Great desighn. I added (2) ss screws on sides of small cover.
Absolutely a great product and relatively easy to install. I bought these as a replacement for the floor board version. Although the floorboard also are a great product, I found them too cramp for my leg comfort. Many people suggest you should be 5'10" or above for these shorter pegs, but that is misleading. Your inseam length and desired leg position are the most important factors for comfort with highway pegs. I am 5'8" with a 32" inseam and I prefer a long reach, so I chose these pegs and they are much more comfortable for me. Try to find either a dealer or motorcycle show where you can test the fitting on display models before you buy.

simple & functional - works my membership to the Soggy Bottom Boys just got canceled |
I was disappointed to find out that after purchasing this product for use with the Ku7513 Turn Signal lights. Upon receipt of the parts, there was no way to connect KU7513 without a "Y" connector. The WingStuff web site didn't mention this. I called Kuryakin and they said you had to hardwire the lights or purchase!
I just installed this mask. I really like the protection the mask provides, great quality and styling. I like the "Goldwing" embrodery too. I folded the tabs (that fit under the trim) and placed them between the fairing and the outer body then put the trim back in place. Since I also have the Baker air deflectors (which bolt to the trim) the tabs stay in place well.
Bought mine at WingDing this year. Easy to install , did it in the hotel prking garage. What a difference !!! Just joined VIP at WingDing and have already paid for my membership with the savings.
a very good part for my handicap
I'm considering this battery for my 1500. This is the one that is recommended, but, clearly the terminals are "backwards" for my bike. Is this just a pic of a general battery, or will the one for my bike have the correct terminals?
I've had these on for a year now. Took them off to reinstall on the chrome cowling I just got. They obviously did their job, quite pitted and scratched. The fog lamps look like new. I am sure these have saved my lights.
