Ram Mounts seem to be THE way to MOUNT ANYTHING TO ANYTHING. Just visit Ram Mount's web site to figure out what you need and then come back to Wing Stuff for great pricing and customer service. On my GL1800, I have my GPS mounted, I have my cell phone mounted, it's so versatile I was thinking about mounting a spare tire up there, haha! |

I bought this so I could listen to my zune through the bikes' sound system. On really long trips the zune battery would die. After installing it I discovered I get a whining noise through the headsets from the alternator. It was fairly easy to install and Ace Hardware carried the 30mm hole saw for $10. I guess I need to get a noise filter now. |
| Purchased the front tire only (have a trike GL1800). The tire replaced the OEM brand which was causing a slight front end wobble. Milage wise no doubt it will remain like all motorcycle tires, short lived. The change in handling characteristics is superb. A very nice tire. |
| This is a nice, simple, well designed hitch. I agree with the other reviews. Would recommend this hitch. Glad I chose this hitch. |
| Put mine on yesterday. Like others that have installed it, the hardest part was actually cutting the seat. I enjoyed my ride to work. Highly recommend this backrest if you are looking to add one to your bike. Oh and there is plenty of room for your passenger. |
| Installed this today on my 2012 Wing, as stated by other reviewers the fit between the front & back piece leaves a little to be desired. That being said,I think a loose fit may increase airflow. Considering the fact that I don't wrench, I was shocked to see how exposed crucial parts were to possible road damage. Glad they're protected now & it only took me about 15 minutes. Plus, I felt good about this addition being more about the bike..than the bling. I would recomend this product to everyone who has a Wing. |
| I just received this item and installed it. DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM UNLESS YOU HAVE TOOLS AND ARE HANDY! The first problem was one of the legs of the rack WOULD NOT accept ANY of the 4 rack risers that I purchased with this item. It 'appeared' to be out-of -round. I managed to use a piece of hardwood and hammer and drove the riser onto the leg (hope I never have to get it off). BTW, two of the legs were welded adequately to the rack, one was welded poorly (bad/uneven stitches) and one was VERY undercut but will no doubt hold together. Not one of the legs would accept the supplied 10-24 machine screws. All the legs had debris (chrome) inside the tapping. I had to go buy a 10-24 machine screw tap and re-tap all 4 legs. The front legs installed easily but the 10-24 x 2" screws are TOO LONG for the rear legs. Fortunately I had double the hardware (for the rack AND the riser kit) so was able to double up the larger rubber washers for the rear legs at the same time as tripling the metal washers under the screw heads in the trunk. I'll cut the screws shorter when I'm back home. Another BTW, the right rear leg was NOT at the right angle to meet the trunk surface squarely but with two rubber washers under it the riser won't mark the trunk. Before pieces are chromed it is ESSENTIAL they are polished to a mirror finish. The underside of the rack appears not to be polished at all (or minimally, you can see the marks left by the rollers or break) hence I expect to have problems with the chrome in the future. Very sorry I bought this thing. |
| Very nice touch. I made my own hitch and this just finish it. |
| Just can not get any easier. I had the seat removed for someother work , so it just made it more easier. |
| Sorry guys. Gotta give this a 1 because of quality issues. Could easily be a 5 except for complete and utter frustration with the nuts on the plates. Others who have complained identified the right problem but wrong reason; at least for me. It’s not the paint or powder coat in the threads. If it was a tap would have cleaned it. I stripped the tap trying to clean them! I finally ended up buying 2” U-bolts to replace the upper clamps… which were easier to install than the clamps anyway. Other than that I am really impressed. Install could have been done in less than 2 hours except for all the running around to try to clean the threads. Definitely worth buying once they fix the problem with the nuts on the mounting plates. The video is excellent too. BTW, I’m likely to contact Kuryakyn for replacement clamps. I’ll trust the clamp better than the U-bolt. |

I would rate this product 5 stars. I had this converter on my 2003 Wing and just recently I had the spoiler dual function light converter installed on my 2010 Wing. I chose to have the Honda Dealer install this part for me. Why? Because plastic is expensive and if I were to damage any plastic during the installation process the cost to replace a broken part could easily have been much higher than what I paid to have this component professionally installed. The labor cost was just under $33.00 and I was back on the bike in about an hour. |
| These highway pegs make all the difference on long rides great quality easy to install used lock tight on bolts after 1 worked loss and you need to remember to flip up before sharp curves which is easy to do without looking down. They look good and work great. |
