My initial review was on 8/2/2009 (still there!), and I thought I should update. I have had Metzlers my whole biking life, and yes, they have a stigma of cupping and trashing quickly. Most I ever got was 10,000+, but I desire their stickiness. I only make this point, to make another. I am on the same set of Metzlers I had mounted at my 8/2009 post. No weights. I now have 14,000+ miles on this set and they are showing MINIMAL cupping (and I mean minimal). They are silky smooth at all speeds, and the tread is still very deep. I have no doubt they have 5,000 to 7,000 miles left to go. My theory is a combination of the beads and the All Balls tapered bearings (a MUST on our bikes) have lengthened the life of the tires. That, or I was blessed with a surprise from the Metlzer Tire Gods. I doubt the latter. Oh, and I have had racetech springs since 2006. Not to be long on this, but do I believe the beads are an easy and very inexpensive way to keep our tires balanced through their life. |
| Nice looking simple part. We own a trike and a little--and I do mean a little chrome back there is just right! I made sure all the wax was removed and installed in the sun. I also taped them on for 24 hours. So far--no issue with them coming loose. |
| This is a very nice product, it made a neat installation however the instructions are not clear as in reference to photos, as the photos were not numbered to match the description. it took about 4 hours to install, however this is about right |
| Amazing......this battery weighs 11 pounds LESS than the factory battery! I weighed them. This battery almost feels like an empty shell. Works great !! If you have a dirt bike with electric start, this battery is a must to reduce weight. |
| I ordered this bag hoping it would fit behind my backrest in the backseat. It is a PERFECT FIT! The backrest fits between the two front pockets and there are Velcro tie downs on the sides of the bag (not shown in the photo) that attach to the grab handles perfectly. Super secure and quickly unstraps for removal. Drove for hours in pouring rain and the rain cover performed as it should. All clothes bone dry. Great purchase......very happy! |
| Just completed 14,550 miles on my first set of "Stones". Just replaced my tires last month with the same brand. Hopefully get the same or more miles out of this set. GREAT TIRES ! No cupping, abnormal wear or any problems as long as you MONITOR TIRE PRESSURES ! |

| good for long rides the only problem that i had was on e side the extension arm would not sit over the mount so i had to file the extension arm hole out until it fitted other than that they look good |
