I have no comparison as this shield was installed on my wing at purchase. It seems to provide very good buffeting reduction, no backdrafts that I can tell. Holds up well under semitruck wind blasts, etc. After 13k mi, it shows minimal signs of wear, pitting/ scratches, or any defects. No shield will completely eliminate buffeting..it is a motorcycle after all ;-) I would buy this shield again.
I love it. Forget about all the cosmetic accessories this is by far the BEST buy I've made for my 2006 Goldwing with abs/nav/comfort that adds the most to my riding comfort. After riding for almost two years I finally purchased the backrest and installed it myself in less than 1 hour. Definitely makes riding a lot more comfortable on long or short trips. Easily adjust to ease back strain. If you don't ride with a backrest check it out.
This trim looks even better on my bike then on the web. Easy install.
I like these. They fit well, and offer a bit of protection to anything I put in the areas. They have a rubber backing with little rubber stubs that keep the carpet pieces from moving / sliding. The product is as thick as the carpet mats in my Honda Pilot. Overall I am happy with this purchase.
I must have 8 of these in various colors. I like white the most! They are a great value and look nice too!

These look and feel stock. Nice and sturdy. It will take you a couple of hours to install, maybe three. Just take your time with the install and you will be happy you went with them.
I bought this awhile back after a day in the rain & having the water smear & blur my vision, both the windshield & especially the faceshield. Cannot use Rain-X on plastics (on all my vehicles!), so this was a gem. Works very well!! now the water beads up & rolls off & permits excellent vision in rain. I tested in an inconspicuous area on the faceshield to ensure the chemical didn't attack or damage- smoked & mirroroed shields- no problems. Already sold several to fellow bikers. Follow the apply directions to the letter!
Put on my 2012. Looks good and adds a touch of class to the front fender. Can't go wrong with this piece. Good price as well.
Purchased these last summer, was going to wait till now, winter time in Kansas, to put them on, I AM NOT breaking my brake system open to install 2 pieces of plastic, wish now I would of NOT opened the package to get the instructions. As big bike parts always shows the installation instructions on their site!, unlike some other company I buy stuff from, just another 70 dollars tossed into the basement, kinda hard to send back when the package is destroyed to get the damn instructions out , my bitching is done now, thanks wingstuff.
be careful when using the pattern that comes with the spoiler, its off by about 3/8 of an inch, honda needs to address this asap, now i have a whole in my trunk lid that will need to be fixed, ive installed a 1500 spoiler and a 1800 spoiler, so this was not my first time,
Purchased this with the fog light reconfiguration kit. Got the fog light kit installed fine (after calling EC) Spent most of the day today attempting to install this Trunk spoiler converter. I have a CSC Cobra trike and all the connecters are above the rear suspension. I completely disassembled the upper trunk and still couldn't find the 3 prong blue connector? I even jacked up the trike and took off both rear wheels and still no find. I finally gave up and put everything back to stock and had a glass of wine. Boy am I old. After about 30 ups and downs I'm bushed. Maybe offer clearer instructions or alternative methods of installing. (other than plug and Play) I hope your luck with this is better than mine with your trikes?
