I wanted to try this for when I wear my half helmet and didn't what annoy others with my music. Did a quick test out with it today and the sound is great. The headphones in my helmet require my volume to be cranked up pretty high to hear them, but with this, the ear buds played just as loud as the external speakers. Works great.
Just installed them and rode home from work at27deg. Worked great hands were a little cool but not aching like they did before I installed the hand wings. These are well worth the price I payed.
Great product once installed! Installation is somewhat difficult but can be done by a novice mechanic. The 14 mm hex head bolt on the right side is left handed thread, meaning to loosen, turn it to the right. The 8 mm allen bolt on the left side is regular right handed thread (turn left to loosen). Both have been lock tighted from the factory and require great effort to break free. Pay attention to the spacers when removing old stand, one of the spacers is recessed and it goes on the allen bolt side which allows the bolt to go all the way in. Both spacers have a flat spot which faces the frame or otherwise, the bolts will not hit the holes. Please use blue lock tight when reinstalling the stand to prevent the bolts from backing out while riding. Have fun!
Es el mejor producto, calidad aunque facil de instalar lo mande a instalar en el dealer, claridad y mas fuerte que el anterior. tengo una Goldwing 2006. Quedo como nueva
The bumpers near the hinges require a little more effort to install but it wasn't terrible. Will keep an eye on it and update if I have any negative results.
I've replace the Iso grips for the fourth time but this time I went with the Gloss Black grips. They have the same comfort as the chrome ones but the chrome kept bubbling and peeling after about a 3 month use which I believe was being caused from the acid in my body. It has been almost 3 months and these Gloss Black look just like the day that I installed them. Being that I do a lot of traveling the comfort of these grips are a must and I do not think that you would go wrong getting them; I do have small hands. In the winter months there is a longer time for the heated grip to be felt but with the gloves that I use it does not make that must difference in the time or the lost of some of the heat.
I'll admit, I like chrome, but I don't want to overdo it. This is a great accent on my black GL1800. Installation was a snap. The hardest part is making sure it's centered.
Purchased this and installed it, works great and does what it's supposed to. Only thing I had a problem with was finding a 30mm hole saw, but finally did. I'm a perfectionist and it calls for a 30mm hole, and thats what I drilled. Fits snug as a glove without any movement from an oversized hole. Great addition to bike. Thanks Wingstuff!
Just added these to my wing and they just help make it Pop along with the rest of the chrome accents.

but boy are these worth it. Immediately people noticed these were "nicer" than theirs. Not that I gloat about stuff like this (ha ha). These are not plastic and are relatively easy to install. I wish the price was more competitive but I will still rate this 5 stars and keep my fingers crossed that I won't have to replace them for a very long while. |

I decided on the 20oz Butler cup for the driver position and I am glad I did! The cup looks large on the Wing's handlebar and I can't imagine having an even larger one up there. 20oz is a lot of liquid and I find that after consumption I have reason to take a (potty) break and the oportunity to refill cup as needed. With a 34oz cup I believe I would need an overflow tube. BTW installation was easy following the pics in the included directions. |
WOW! I wish I had gotten them a long time ago!! I hate using gloves anyway and these take all the wind off my hands. The make worlds of difference. I still use gloves when it is pretty cold, but not as often now. One of the best things you can buy for your bike.
