| Just to add- Both Wingstuff and Rivco customer service was top notch. took ownership and was willing to make things right. Apparently the what I see as a defect is the design of the unit. I made some recommendations to Rivco for future design. I did find the hitch to be top quality |

Found that the template was out by 1/2 inch which left me with 2 small unwanted holes in the topbox lid. Luckily they were covered by the base of the spoiler. The spoiler looks good and fits well with the carry rack that was already there. I also installed the running light optional connection which didn't work when connected to the blue connectors behind the number plate as specified. Being an Australian specked model with no running/tail lights in the panniers I'm suspecting it needs to be connected somewhere else? Any clues please? |
| Easy install dry fit first just to make sure you don't need to make adjustments |

This is my first Westco Battery, but it appears to be well made. It came with a full charge [I put a trickle on it before install and the charger went to float after about one minute]. There are two spacers shipped on the positive pole protector that I had to use between the battery and the battery cable on both the positive and negative terminals. Otherwise the battery cable connector hits on the top edge of the battery preventing proper mounting allignment. I have a 2007 Wing and otherwise the fit was like a glove. If the battery were to come with some minimal instruction on the use and placement of the spacers that would probably alleviate some of the confusion and frustration that I have read in other reviews. It did take about 10 days to receive the battery but that's probably not bad since the battery was drop shipped from Westco and had to be shipped via ground. Not nearly as fast as Wingstuff normally gets parts to us. |

Just installed mine today. Like several others, I fought with it for a couple hours until I finally gave up and went and bought 4 10-32 1 1/4" screws which are just a little longer than the ones that came with it (when I checked the screw that came with it, the 10-32 looked like a better fit than a metric size). I also picked up 4 1 1/2" ones since I wasn't sure if they would work better. The 1 1/2" ones were too long, but they did help me align it up a little easier to get all the screws in the handle. Once I had the longer screws in, and pulled down to lid, I then replaced each screw with the 1 1/4" screw. Had to really pull on the handle on one side since it just seemed to be off a fraction and the screw on one side wouldn't align with it once I had the screws on the other side in. Elongating the holes on the outside of the trunk helped a little to allow the screws to give a little in their alignment. Once I got it on, looks great and very functional in picking up the trunk lid with a fairing and rack mounted on it. Just hope I won't be having to get into the upper part of the trunk lid again for a very long time. Giving it 4 starts just due to the issues of the installation and screw lengths. |
| YEA A 5- GIVEN FOR THIS ONE TOO- THE BLUE DENIM, FITS GREAT, A SIZE LARGE WAS JUST RIGHT ????ASO AGAIN GO GET SOME-MORE THAN ONE !!!!!!!!! |
| I was very disappointed to spend $100+ bucks and receive a defective item. The cage flooring was not attached to the frame. Hopefully Wingstuff/Rivco replaces at no charge to me. |
| I RECEIVED THESE ON 3/2/12 ADDED RIGHT AWAY DEFINANTLY MADE A DIFFERENCE IN MY REAR VIEW LITTLE ADJUSTMENT AND I CAN SEE CLEARLY NOW EASY INSTALL WOULD HAVE LIKED THE CLIP ON TO HAVE BEEN BLK INSTEAD OF GALVINIZED BUT NOT THAT NOTICIBLE. |
| Easy install and adds a nice toch to the trunk. |
| I have road over 20000 miles with this back rest it has plenty of adjustment that you can ajust while going down the road. The hardest thing about the install was sticking a knife through a brand new seat. |
| Great product, looks good, sturdy, and you can get different drops so your trailer pulls level. I have pulled my trailer about 3500 miles with no problems |
| I installed this pan today, didn't really need the directions. The large panel is very tight, once you have the one side on, you really have to lift and pull on the pan to get it over the second side of bolts. The short panel needs to be straightened out a little and the side wings need a little more of a bend. Both bends are very easy to do with your hands. |
