Great look for a drab area, lots of compliments on these. You must clean the area very well, use a good amount of silicone, and wait for eternity (really only 12 hrs) But you will feel a little heat when using highway pegs - NOT a lot.. just a little bit, but my bike seems to run a little cooler with them installed also |
| great piece, very easy to install and I am very impressed with how long it's lasted |
|
Had them on for over a year with no problems, gives that look of motion when the bike is sitting still. WARNING you only have one shot to install, ther is no repositioning, once the tape touches its done |
| Nice little piece of bling that fits great, is reasonably priced and has held up very well for over a year, I'm thrilled. it is a nice piece of bling |
| Not only does this spoiler get rid of the sloped camel back look of the back and transform it into the sporty styling look the bike deserves but it adds a HUGE amount of attention getting, accident avoiding Brake Lights... especially if you tow a trailer or ride in traffic or at night. The paint was an exact match which was great, the fit is perfect and the plug and play made it a no brainer, instructions were very clear and easy to follow |
| The looks are AWESOME but be very carefull when installing them the lenses will "pop" in and vibrate / hang from the attached wiring. a little silicon will fix it, just be carefull |
| I have a Clutch / Brake and a Passenger they are really great, they hold everything from 12oz cans to 32oz cups with no problem,. I placed a folded piece of absorbant material in the bottom to catch the condensation, I love them, so does my s/o |
| This item is one that is a no brainer, The first words out of my Honda dealers mouth after congradulations was order and install one of these now, then had his goldwing mech show me his reason.. he ad 4 plastic tanks that were replaced / damaged due to "road debris".. no thanks, my pan went on that week-end and had a scrape incident 2 rides later on a rock from a dump truck... thanks for saving my hondas belly, I won't ride without one |
| It's even worse than I thought - (1) They are NOT bent to the same angle - (2) One is an inch longer than the other - (3) the clamps will not tighten enough to hold them tight on the standard GL1500 engine guards. They seem to have a serious quality control problem with these. |

As you would expect from Honda, yet another quality product and well worth the money. Not only does it protect against stones and bugs it also looks good and easy to clean. I only use it on long trips and it is very easy to fit and remove. If you have fairing accessories like Baker Built wings and other chrome bits, then it can be a bit of a challenge to get a snug fit, but once you get the hang of it, it's really not a problem. It will stretch a bit over time to hug the fairing for a better fit (like gloves). Get one, you will love it! |
| Look very nice and are easy to install. |
| Look very nice - but I had to use the old metal inserts from the old knobs to get these to fit. |
