| This piece looks great when installed, but the glare right in the center of the windshied is very annoying while riding. I guess that's why Honda left it black. I will go back to the stock one and just eat the loss. |
| This is from ShowChrome and the chrome finish is flawed/pitted. I was going to send back but had no confidence another would be any better. ShowChrome needs better quality control. |
| Was hoping that someone would buy one of these then give a review. $169.00 is a lot of money for this product. I don't think I could look somebody in the eye and say it was worth it. What price do you put on comfort? That's the bottom line.This vest is the best I've worn for easy cooling comfort. Also very well made. You know the drill with the other vests. You soak them and in effect ride around with a little wet blanket on you and for a short while they will cool you off and leave your shirt sopping wet. This mesh vest comes with Four cooler packs that are filled with a clear non toxic substance that turns white when it is fully chilled.These packs are pretty cold at first but are designed to keep your body core at Fifty nine and one half degrees. Your shirt will still get wet from the packs but not like the other vests. We rode in ninety five degree heat and this vest kept me cool for close to two hours ( Glacier Tek claims two and a Half, so pretty close). The cooler packs recharge in ice water in about Twenty minutes. You can also place them in a freezer or refrigerator but they will take longer to chill. I combined this vest with a mesh jacket and I've never been more comfortable in the heat.This products price is the only negative thing I can say. Hands down the best vest I've ever worn. I would not hesitate to buy this product again. |
| These risers were on my '03 Wing that I bought back in '09. I never paid much attention to them until I just bought a 2012 Wing and I am going to transfer them. When I took them off the bike I couldn't believe how heavy they are. These appear to be made of steel plate. I met the previous owner of my bike and I know that they have been on the bike for at least 6 or 7 years. I took a little chrome polish to them and they look like brand new. These are very well made and the chrome is excellent. |
| The switchblock really looks factory. It seems a tad pricey, but is built very solidly(all metal). I used it to control my LED's. Wiring was simple enough to understand. I got just a weep of brake fluid between the base and the factory reservoir when I first bolted it on. Make sure you cover the area below it to avoid an accident. Mine quit seeping shortly after final tightening of the lid. Looked OK the next morning and still does. Unit functions flawlessly. Will update on the fluid thing after putting some miles on her if needed. For now, a 5-star product. |
| Had these installed at the Kuryakyn booth, at this past Wing-Ding 34, Ft. Wayne, In. After arriving home, noticed that there were about 4 LEDS on both sides not working or burned out. Very noticable, especially at night. IMHO, don't waste your money. Now I have to find an alternate, and figure our how to notify Kuryakyn and get them replaced. Next time, I'll know better. |
| This morning I decided I was going to order a set of the 5 led mirrors to replace the 7 led mirrors (see above review) I placed the order with Wing Stuff This afternooon I recieved an email from Chris at Muth. I had sent Muth my feedback on the new 7 led mirrors. Chris offered to replace the 7 led mirrors with the 5 led mirrors that in my opinior are much better. I called Wing Stuff and they very quickly removed the new order for me. Great Service from both Muth and Wing Stuff. Both companies deserve 5 stars and more. I rated this review with only 2 stars indicating the poor function of the 7 led model. |
| Was real easy to install on my 2012 wing. I live in Michigan and drove it to wingding 34 and the receiver part bent bad. I pulled the same trailer with my 2002 and never had any problem. would not buy another one |
| They looked great followed the instructions and they wouldn't stay on...fell off sitting on car port. Tried a different cleaner still fell off. Bad sticky design. |
| Finally made the decision to buy this VStream Special Edition shield. This year has been tough on me when it comes to riding. Had spinal cord surgery in Feb and surgery on 5 discs in my lower back in Mar. I have been taking short rides, but even then I would come back hurting, mostly because of the head buffeting I was getting with the stock shield. I installed the new VStream shield on Saturday. Install is very straight forward. The pictures do not fully illustrate the contours and curves built into this shield. It really pushes the air out at the top in a completly different manner than stock or other normal shields. Went for a ride yesterday and was super impressed with the reduction in buffeting around my head! Yesterday was my longest ride I have taken since my surgeries, about 265 miles. What a difference! I could not have done that with my stock shield. As for all the other things like rain zip coating, guess I will have to wait for the rain! They do include a small bottle of rain zip with the windshield so you don't need to purchase one up front. |
| This is by far the poorest tire I have ever used. I usually drive around 10-12 thousand miles a year. This means that I change my tires about once a year. Imagine my surprise when I walked up behind my bike and saw the cords about an inch wide all the way around my rear tire. And I only have 5,452 miles on this tire. I just competed a 1,000 trip to the southern Rocky Mnts. lots of curves and steep drop offs. I have used the E3 and the Bridgestone with about the same results. I wanted to try the Avon but the only tire the dealer had in stock was the E3 so I am back to that for another year. I highly recommend against this tire. It will not last. |
